Poem 13

0 0 1

Long everlasting
Undying passion
I'm lying on the floor
Don't open up the door

I'm slowly falling asleep
Hopefully for eternity
My dear friend darkness
Are you truly hopeless

I'm floating
Above all the gloating
Away from the pain
Away from the fray

I'm no longer on the front lines
There were other times
Is there a heaven
Are you truly let in

Is there a hell
Is that where everyone fell
I couldn't care
Life isn't fair

There's always a competition
Everyone be wishin
That they're the winners
But they're just killers

In this morbid game
Where I left all the fame
I'm the true assassin
I was everlastin

I had all the records
And the wreckers
I was number one
I had won

They wouldn't have it
So they threw me in a pit
Left to die
Left to sigh

I'm surrounded in despair
I'm gasping for air
I'm always beside my friend
Until my very end

Where my soul fades
Until the end of games
I hope they get what the deserve
The decrease in reserve

I was the top dog
Don't be like a hog
Treat all my followers fairly
And hold onto them dearly

My poor mortal friend
I wish I could be there for your end
But I can't
My times spent

I'm in a pit
That's not even lit
I'm gone
My memories were fond

Don't let they win
The ice is wearing thin
My last wish
Is they're end

So everyone can be free
Of the tyranny
I was the number one assassin
Now goodbye my friends

My time must end
Now to have my memories fade
Into the great gate
Of Father Time

Don't miss me too much guys
