Dennis Lambert was on his way to Ursa Major, a famous Disco house in Oakland City, California. He was going to meet his friend there to go partying. He went inside his car which was a Ferrari; a typical car for a rich guy. Dennis belonged to a rich family. His father is a businessman who owns a shipping line company. His mother on the other hand works in a bank and receives good salary hence she is the manager. Dennis has an elder sister who is a branch manager of a coffee shop; she is also inclined to business. It was a shock as to why Dennis became so engrossed into fashion. He is good in handling businesses but chose to live in his way; Because of his interest in fashion, Dennis gradually took up Fashion designing and became known worldwide for his works. He designed the gowns of many famous artists, became known for the fashion shows he managed, and became the main judge of many fashion shows at such a young age. A genius as described by many. He was also someone who is blessed with good looks. His soft black hair makes him adorable, matched with his stunning green eyes and pink lips. He is every girl’s ideal guy, so to speak.
On his way to Ursa Major, He wore a striped polo, with folded sleeves; it was worn in an inserted manner, matched with his expensive black pants; he wore his favourite pair of shoes which he worked hard on to make it shine. He wore His suspenders on and his signature style, a trilby hat in colour grey.
Dennis was on a rush since he was already late. Their meet up was supposed to be 9 pm, but he woke up from his sleep at 9:30. Like a flash of light, he hurried. Suddenly, his phone rang; it was his friend, Greg. "Hey man, where are you now?" Greg said on the phone. "Don't worry dude, I'm almost there..." Dennis replied. "Hurry up man, you're missing' all the beautiful ladies.." Then Greg hung up. Dennis on the other hand was much pressured since he got stuck in the traffic. "Great..." He murmured to himself. In less than Thirty minutes, he arrived in Ursa Major.
He went out of his car, and stared at the place in awe. It was his first time to go to Ursa Major. Some said that the place was actually a charm for those who are in search for partners. Other said it was just a rumour and nothing else. But rumour or not, Dennis was willing to give it a try.
The place was a ten storey building both with distinguishing terraces and a ramp in every floor. Dennis went inside the building and explored the place; He roamed around for a while. On the ground floor, there was a counter where you have to pay for your entrance fee. But Dennis, who had no choice had to pay. Then he went inside the door located beside the counter, and there, he entered a disco room where people drank, chatted, and danced. He roamed around the place like a kid driven by curiosity. He had no idea that he already looked stupid smiling for no reason. Then, a random guy approached him.
"Hey, man. I can see you're new here. Enjoying the night?" He said patting Dennis on the shoulder. Dennis looked at him and smiled. "Yeah, the place is really nice." He said in return. The guy suddenly stopped and stared at him for like a minute. Dennis, who could not bear the awkward silence, spoke. "Umm, is there something wrong with my face?" He asked. "Oh, no. Hey aren't you that, Dennis... sort of Lambert? You know the famous fashion designer?" The guy asked. "Oh, I thought there was something weird about me. Well, yeah, I'm Dennis Lambert. It's such a pleasure somebody knows my name." He said as he reached his hand for a handshake. The guy returned the handshake. "Well, who would not recognize you? You're famous over the world. And if you don't mind me telling you, the ladies have been looking at you for quite a while now. Oh by the way, I'm Mike Jones." He said. "Would you like me to tour you around here in Ursa Major?" He asked. "Oh no, Mike I'm good. I have a friend waiting somewhere upstairs." He replied.
"Oh, I see. Well, you can find me here the whole night in case you need anything though."
"Thank you, It's nice meeting you, Mike."
"Likewise, Mr. Dennis..."
Both of them separate ways as Mike went to the bar and Dennis exited the disco room. Dennis went upstairs looking for Greg. He looked for Greg on the second floor but he was not there. Whispers of women irritated Dennis as he continued to look for his friend. It was kind of difficult for Dennis since he had to sign every girl's papers who asked for his autograph. Third, Fourth, and Fifth. Greg was nowhere to be found. So, as Dennis walked in the ramp going to the Sixth floor of the building, he took out his phone and dialled Greg's number. First call, Greg did not answer so Dennis had to dial Greg's number again. And on the third one, Greg answered.
"Hey dude. Where are you? I've been calling for like forever!" Dennis exclaimed in an irritated voice. "Who? Me? Oh... thanks for your concern dude, but I'm perfectly fine-" Greg said over the phone.
"Hey wait. Are you drunk?"
"Me? No. I'm not drunk at all. I'm just strolling here with the ladies... Haha!"
"Greg, seriously, where on earth are you?"
"Me? Oh, just... somewhere down in California.. you know"
"Where are you exactly?"
"In the hotel"
"What!? You mean you're not in Ursa Major!?"
"No, I mean yes, I'm not in Ursa Major since I'm in the hotel. You dumb man? Hahaha!"
Dennis knew it was not making any sense talking to a drunk guy so he hung up. He was filled with irritation. His friend left him alone in a place he hardly knew. 'Well, it was my fault for waking up late though. But dang!' He thought to himself. He took his cap off and scrapped his head in desperation. He leaned against the terrace and watched the view. "Wow..." He murmured to himself. "I never knew California was this beautiful." City lights greeted his eyes as he watched the view. He could see different colours. Orange, yellow, white, red. Many kinds of buildings. Small, Big, Tall, short. Whatever they were, Dennis stared in awe and enjoyed the view.
The sound of women's loud giggles disturbed Dennis's awe. He thought it would only be those girls talking about the famous, cool, fashion designer Dennis. But to his surprise it was not. He looked below the terrace and found two ladies. But one caught his eye. It was a lady in a Red, fitting dress with the length just above the knees and a pair of red stilettos. She has a long, black and silky hair; Beautiful brown eyes, soft, fair skin, and soft reddish lips. 'Beautiful' He thought to himself. He then imagined the girl wearing a dress that he designed himself and have her as his model. He smiled as he stared at the girl, who was laughing while chatting with her friend. Suddenly, the wind blew and knocked his trilby hat and it fell. He followed his gaze unto the hat, and to his surprise, it was the lady in red who caught his hat. He watched in amazement as the lady in red, stared into its owner.
