Author's Notes:

* Hi everyone, I'm really excited about posting my story here! The storyline is really a dream I once had, hence the title "One Night's Dream" - although it also has other meanings. When I woke up I thought it would be cool to watch it as a movie, but that the story should be further developed. Since my younger sister is the true writer of the family, I recounted my entire dream's details to see if it would interest her as a story to write. She indeed started the very first part of the story, however I picked up what she had, made some adjustments and continued it. I hope you enjoy it! Please know beforehand that it may take a while for postings between chapters.

One Night's Dream

I once had a dream about a girl losing her father in a very bloody massacre. This girl grew up keeping the death of her father in the deepest confinements of her mind. Years later, no longer a girl but a full grown young woman, she followed her father's footstep devoting her life to speaking the Word of God to everyone. Until now she had led an exemplary life: Church youth leader, professional photographer, teacher, and owner of a gallery. Yet, one night memories of her beloved father finally breaks her mind's stronghold to the pain of emotions repressed from her past's events causing a second personality to arise in her: an extraverted personality that likes partying - dancing, drinking, sex. In the awakening night, a guy recognizes her in a pub. It astounds him to see this so called 'Christian' in this place with a drink on her hand. When he approaches her and she doesn't seem to know him, his first impression is that she had had too many drinks. But when the same behavior continues the following night he knows there is something wacky about her.

"ONE NIGHT'S DREAM"

INSIGHT

SHE WAKES UP TO THE SWEET AROMA OF COFFEE FROM THE DOWNSTAIRS cafeteria. She puts on her favorite dress, a green-flowered dress that goes down just below her knees; she twirls in front of the cheval mirror and gives thanks to God for another day. As she walks down the stairs she can hear the people ordering the different types of breakfast choices off the menu.

"Good morning Vittoria!" said Juliette.

"Good morning Ben - Julie!" She replied with a warm smile.

Benton and Juliette are the owners of the cafeteria "Ben & Julie's Caffè" which they have run for eleven years. They are retired accountants who married on their forties, moved to St. Augustine, Florida and opened their own business there. They weren't able to have children so they fostered Vittoria when she was 14 years old.

"Your tea is by the stove, darling."

"Thanks Julie."

She walked gracefully outside with her morning tea - Vanilla Chai Spice Black Tea - her eyes flickered at the sun, shining brightly amongst all the old buildings surrounding the neighborhood. Across the street from the cafeteria are some locals waiting for the train that will take them off to work or school. Others are busy, buying fruits, fish, and other goods. There are also local business men and women and students walking with a quick lope down the sidewalk on their way to work and school, it seems like everyone is in a hurry.
