Chapter 1

The tale I am about to tell you will need you to understand this legend.

Long ago,a legendary battle happened in the valley of undead.Two men fought eachother on a mountain of bodies.One was a necromancer while the other one was a king.After a long and harsh battle the king finally slayed the necromancer.His people declared him a hero while the necromancer was buried in a undisclosed location.But not all stories are true.What if I told you that the king was evil and the necromancer was good?And the battle shall happen again?Would you believe me?Because the story I am about to tell you is about a boy named Daniel,who will change history forever.

Daniel's POV

It was 8:00 A.M. when I woke up.I stood up and looked at the calender."June 10, 2014".I quickly tought that I woke up too early since it was a saturday.I then proceeded towards the mirror on the left side of my room.I looked myself in the mirror.What I tought was a little too skinny for a 17 year old boy.But my dad said I was the normal body type for one.After looking at my body I began to wipe my weary blue eyes and comb my blonde hair.I then proceeded towards the bathroom.I then began brushing my teeth and wash my face.Then I changed into my Normal everyday clothing.A blue hoodie,greyish jeans and light blue sneakers.After that I went downstairs to eat breakfast.

I was greeted by my dad with a smile and my sister pat on the back.Mom is mostly at work during this time.She got recently promoted to CEO of a electrical company and mostly works long shifts even on weekends.My sister,Sarah suddenly said while I was eating my mac and cheese "So you gonna meet up with your friends later?"I stared at her as if to say "Yup I will".She quietly stared at Dad and suddenly said "Wil you be with Trini later?"the last word she said with a smile.Annoyed with my sister's jokes I smiled and gently nudged her on her shoulder.

Trini was my bestfriend and secret crush since kindergarten.She has long brown hair and a pair of brown eyes.She mostly wears a light green shirt and and black skinny jeans and light green sneakers.Most people know her as Trinity because she is so kind that her kindness is leveled.Many call her Trinity but I am the only one allowed to call her Trini.Sis thinks it's because she likes me.But she lets me call her that cause I never stop calling her that till she accepted it.She returns the favor by calling me Dan which I hate.

Anyway after eating I got my backpack and said goodbye to my dad and sister and began my way to Trini's house.Most of the time I walk there but last week my mom bought me a BMX.So I rode that to her house.Once I arrived I already saw my friend Kiel waiting for me at the door.Kiel,my friend who had a pair of brown eyes and black hair and wore a white polo and jeans and a pair of black sneakers signaled me to come over.So I parked my bike near his and began walking towards him."You were waiting for me?"I said with a stupid smirk on my face.He moved shoulder blades to say "not really".Suddenly another boy arrived in front of Trini's house.He rode a customized bike and helmet.He had Reddish hair,a shirt that said "Extreme" on it,shorts and a pair of flipflops.Kiel seemed to know him so I decided to say hi.I slowly approached him and outstrech my hand.But he walked right past and and headed straight for Trinity."Hello Trinity,you look beautiful this day.".But she snikered at him as a response that made me giggle.She then said"The person you just past is Daniel,Sam.".This Sam looked at me with a grudging smile.I smiled back at him.He then stared back at Trinity and asked"Trinity why don't we go bike around a bit,just the two of us."She snikered once more and looked at me as if to say "help".I suddenly blurted out"Hey Trini I thought we were going to that old shaft on the other side of town?".What I said was exactly what Trini wanted to hear.She smirked at Sam and then proceeded to get on my bike and signal me to drive her there.I sighed and then proceeded to get on my bike.Kiel smirked as I passed by him.

Trinity's POV

As I rode with Daniel my heart pumped faster and faster.I haven't sat this close before.I wished he woulden't fill my heartbeat.Suddenly Kiel yelled"Hey Trinity its Sarah!".Ilooked and saw her around the corner.She was wearig her usual clothes.A blue skirt and black boots.I waved at her which got her attention.She waved back which made us stop.Kiel then got of his bike and kissed her hand and said"Hello Ms.Yellow eyes.".She menacingly stared at him before slapping him.Daniel whispered to Sam who was watching with interest"This is their usual greeting.".This made Sam laugh and smile at Daniel.

After Sarah got on Kiel's bike Sam suddenly said"Kiel,Daniel race you guys to the shaft."The two smirked at him and began pedalling as fast as they could.After 20 minutes we arrived at the shaft.I stared at it with fear and curiosity.Daniel then stated"Who won Sam?".Sam,smiling pointed at Kiel and Sarah who were already heading into the shaft.I got off Daniel's bike and began walking towards the shaft.Daniel and Sam,who were behind me were talking about the history about the shaft.As we entered the shaft I noticed the insects around us.We then heard Kiel screaming signaling us where they were at.We headed towards them and saw Sarah pointed at the giant hole ."What happened?" I asked.Sarah said with a nervous voice "We'll we were walking towards the rope bridge when Kiel noticed something shiny and wanted to look for it,the next thing you know he fell into the hole.".Sam then suddenly said"Don't worry we'll get him out.".Daniel agreed with a nod.We decided to check if he was conscious.Daniel screamed "You alright Kiel?".
