My name is Elizabeth Heather i live in Manhattan well downtown because i can't really afford the apartments uptown. i originally from Iowa  recently moved to New York, to become a journalist that ended up as a backoffice editor. I failed horribly the first year because i kind of forgot to send c'vs to the company for a Journalist Position  before coming so i had to live on the money that my Parents had been given me for the past 2 year. I know i failed as an adult but then again i didn't know what it was like to live alone until i finally moved to New York it was a horrible experience but glad that i was able to survive somehow. After many trials i finally got a spot at the New York times company last year. Just when i was about to give up, i got the phone call saying i had been accepted and ever since I've been writing little articles in magazines and on social medias. I haven't gotten a promotion yet but if I'm lucky i think by the beginning of next year it might be possible. So until then i have to run errands and help my fellow colleagues with their own articles. Its a tough job but someone has got to do it.

Its's a Saturday and it's one of the most busy days of the week, i mean it's always busy here but  mostly on Saturdays so we can prepare for a Monday.

"Hey Lizzie what's up what are you working on today don't tell me the chief gave you the same story again to report about," Tasha said.

Her real name is Natasha but we all call her Tasha because she told us to, not much reason behind it. Tasha was the one who helped me get a spot at the New York times. We met at a club and i was half drunk and telling her about how i had the worst luck in history strangely she had listen to all my blabbing and offered for us to get in contact and how she could help me with my search. Talk about a miracle right, and by the way I'm christian yeah I'm one of ''those kids" who had really disciplined christian parents that always went by the book. I wouldn't say that I'm a strong believer cause I always tend to question HIM, but in cases like this I do feel like his watching me. Well anyway I'm very grateful and  thanks to her generosity I'm able work here today.

" You know someone has to do it besides it's not like his doing it to punish me he just needs someone to cover the story and since i was free i decided to do it", i said looking away from the computer and up to her, "If thats what it takes to get me the credit i need to get a promo then i'll do it," i said smiling up from my computer towards her.

"If that's what you want, then i won't stress the issue  but you have to learn how to say no, doesn't that god of yours have any sympathy for you," she said.

Before i forget let me properly introduce you to Natasha also known as Tasha hard working girl  a softie although she hates to admit it and hates our boss cause they were dating each other awhile back. The thing is she had no clue he was her boss so they had to end things, cause we have a work policy that states there should be no relationship between employer and employee. Tasha keeps saying she is not disturbed by the fact that she has to see him everyday but that's obviously a lie. She might not Love the guy anymore but i can tell everything about him annoys her she's the only one who can actually stand up to him so whenever we need anything from the boss we always go to Tasha first.

"OK but after you've finished all his crappy work let me know so we can go home together i'm going to finish my own crap, gosh i don't feel like being here any longer than i should," she said  making her way back to her desk.

"Don't worry I'm almost done just gonna quickly round up," i said giving her a smile. Oh and Tasha and i moved in together  she was looking for a place to stay and i had a room free in my apartment which was supposed to be my office but i put it up for rent. Turns out that even living downtown Manhattan is also expensive.
