-Harry's P.O.V-
"Well don't you look handsome," Clara gushed and then walked forward on her heels and took me in an embrace. "How are you now?" she asked, pulling back, looking at me with what looked like concern for me.
"Er... I'm fine, thank you." I smiled, probably letting dimples show. She smiled back and stepped aside.
"Well, don't just stand there," she ushered me. I walked in and past her. This place looked like a living room and kitchen. The living room had a big lush couch, a glass coffee table with some remotes on it. A huge flat screen tv was on the wall. The kitchen was dark wood with stainless steal. Everything was probably of the best quality here.
There was laughing and talking from the couch and you saw the back of their heads from here.
"Yeah, I know, right? I was a really chubby kid," I heard Aimee say. Aimee used to be a chubby kid? She is fit as hell now!
"Harry's here," Clara said, making four heads turn in our direction. She put a hand on my upper back, gesturing for me to walk more into the room.
"Oh my gosh!" The dark haired girl jumped up and walked quickly up to me. Her hair was straight and she wore a tight fitted black dress, her back totally bare. And then she had red heels, matching her lipstick. "I'm so so so so sooooo sorry," she gushed as she now stood in front of me. "Like really, I thought I killed you for a second."
I chuckled and ruffled my curls.
"Well, I'm not dead, so you didn't kill me. I'm fine actually," I assured her with a smile in the end. She looked at me for a bit, checking if I was lying, then sighed in relief.
"I didn't believe Ams because she would lie just to make me feel better. It's kind of her job, being the oldest and all, but still. I'm glad you're okay. Hug?" She opened her arms, stopping her rambling. I slowly stepped closer and leaned a bit down to hug her.
It was just a short hug, but she seemed to relax more and more.
"Okay, I'm done," she announced and turned around. That's when I noticed the rest of her family had stood up and walked over here as well. William had an arm around Clara, while the other two of the children just stood there, waiting for their turn.
"Nice to meet you again, Harry. I see you're up and going again?" William said, shaking my hand.
"Nice to meet you too and yeah, I'm perfectly healthy." I smiled to him. Niall then stepped forward, taking my hand and then doing that shoulder hug thing, you know, a manly hug.
"If you didn't remember, I'm Niall. Unfortunately the youngest one." He pouted jokingly. I chuckled as his older sisters just poked their tongues out at him.
"And you already know me so I can't be bothered to tell you again." Aimee shrugged.
"Yeah, I do. Happy birthday," I said, again.
"You've already said that today." She raised her eyebrow. William and Clara walked to the kitchen, getting out some champagne or something.
"I know, I just felt obligated to tell you in front of your family." I shrugged. Niall chuckled and Kim smiled.
"That's sweet. You've got a friend with manners, Meemee," Niall cooed, poking Aimee's cheek. She groaned and pushed him away. Niall wore simple black jeans, white high-tops and a blue shirt, the top button open and the sleeves pushed up to his elbows.
Aimee, on the other hand, wore a short red dress with a plunging neckline that basically reached her belly button. There were some bracelets on her arm and her makeup was kind of dark, her hair down over each of her shoulders.
"Whatever." Aimee rolled her eyes and then turned to me again. "You have siblings, right?" My stomach dropped at the subject.
"Yeah, an older sister," I said honestly, even though I haven't seen her in 6 years. You know, since I ran away.
"High five for that!" Niall exclaimed, holding his hand out to me. I slapped it and he grinned.
"Then you know that they're bloody annoying, so I'm allowing you to ignore mine if they're annoying you," Aimee said, sending me the smallest of smiles and then she walked over to her parents.
"She likes you," Kim whispered the second she was out of earshot.
"Er..." I looked at her questioningly. "What makes you think that?"
"You're in here, duh." She gestured to the room.
"So?"
"You're obviously new to this all. This is Aimee's private room, she won't let anyone in here, unless she approves of them, or likes then, whatever. You're in here, so she likes you," Niall explained and I slowly nodded, showing that I understood now.
"I totally understand why she likes you," Kim said, eyeing me a bit now. I shifted my weight to my other leg, feeling a bit self-conscious and uncomfortable under her gaze.
"Stop eye raping him. He's a bunny around here." Aimee's voice made Kim's eyes snap away from my body. The blonde came to us, holding four glasses. Niall and Kim took the two she held in one hand, so then she held out one to me, which I gladly took. I think I kind of needed it with all these people around here.
"A bunny? Really?" I asked her, feeling a bit embarrassed she compared me to a bunny.
"Yes, a bunny."
"Why?" I quirked an eyebrow up. She looked to her siblings and they were doing something.
"Kim, take his jacket."
"Oki dokie." Kim placed her hands on my shoulders and slid my jacket off and placed it somewhere.
"Aimee, darling, come in there in maximum 15 minutes," Clara said, kissing her daughter's cheek.
"Okay, mom." She smiled. Her whole family then walked out, leaving only the two of us. "And you're a bunny because they're innocent and cute, you're innocent and cute. I'm not saying you're innocent as in I think you're virgin or something because you're definitely not a virgin. It's just how easily embarrassed you are and you blush and have dimples. Also, how you subconsciously seek safety with people that has more power than you," she explained her reasons and I listened.
"Then what are you? A tiger?"
"Nope, a lion. Didn't you know that lions are the kings of the wild? I'm the alpha lion or whatever it's called, so I'm the leader. I'd kill anyone who's a threat or who doesn't please me or isn't good enough. In other words, I do exactly what I want to do," she shrugged and then walked over to the couch.
I sat down beside her and she turned the tv on, much to my surprise, it seemed like she could see what the security camera's picked up.
"Is this.."
"The security cameras?" she finished for me and nodded. "Yes. I know what happens in every single corner of this place. I don't have cameras in the bathrooms and bedrooms, but I know when something is wrong. There are alarms and sensors all over the place," she told me and the one big picture changed into a lot of smaller ones, showing different places in this hotel. "We should go out there now."
I nodded and stood up after her.
"Let's get this over with," Aimee sighed and walked out, me following right behind, for some reason I felt safe in her company.
