chapter 9

the next day*****

i wake up early and finish packing the rest of our stuff. dracos didnt stay the night last night in order to talk to his mother. as im packing the last box draco walks in looking vey said.

"whats wrong? please tell me she didnt say no." i say

"she said..... YES!"  he said the grin slowly filling his face.

we jumped up and down for like 10 minutes. finally calming down we took out our wands and sent mine and levis stuff to malfoy manor. then we apperated there. mrs malfoy was so happy to see me, she looked as though she hadnt gotten any sleep in months. she gave me a tour of the house and told me that draco and i could have third floor to ourselves.

i looked at her and said "you dont have to do that for us. levi and i would be perfectly okay in one room."

"i agree mother. i can have my old room. we dont this much space." draco said.

"your right but if its my house and these rooms have been empty for so long, please even if you dont use them for awhile it would make me feel better." she said

"okay thank you." i said

"you have always been welcome here my dear." she said in front of draco, then pulled me to the side. "i am so happy you finally gave him a chance. i was sure hed end up giving up on love when he came and told me you and him were together. if you ever need me to watch your beautiful son so you guys can go out dont hesitate and ask."

*** 3 weeks go by, draco and i finish up our auror classes and are welcomed into the ministry with not very open arms.

because of who our fathers are not many people are accepting of us being allowed to work there. my father being the only person to escape from askaban and dracos being a willing servant of voldemort.

harry tells us to give it a week and they'd forget about hating us, a week turn into 3 months and they still dont accep us, if anything they hate us more because we are the ones the minister calls on to catch a dark wizard. we were the best i the class so its no wonder he calls us but the others dont like it.

***one night after almost a 2 week chase of the same witch, finally catching her, draco flips out.

"i dont understand their problem. we have shown we are more then perfect for this job but because of our parents we cant turn our backs without getting death stares. and your father didnt even do anythin wrong." he says

"i know but we need to continue to ignore it. once they realize that we dont care about them they'll leave us alone. my father was a convicted killer, even if he didnt kill anyone, and he broke out of askaban. of course people are going to hate them. just bottle it and act like your not bothered." i said "now come on i want to curl up under the covers with you and not come out until im plenty rested."

"dont count on that rest if im with you.

narcissa has been amazing, she watchs levi while we work and shes great with him. hes started calling her mum-mum which is what he called rons mum.she really considers levi to be her grandchild, it doenst bother her that dracos not his father. shes been sneaking hints to draco that she wants another grandkid.

***after 6 months of dating draco mand i moved into the master bedroom on the third floor which was big enough for both of us and levi. then after almost 8 months and cathcing a good 30 dark witchs and wizards people finally start talking to us and accepting us. 

one thrusday, 2 days before levis 2nd birthday, im sitting at my desk trying to get rid of the nausea that has had me throwing up every morning for the past 2 weeks and wondering what kind of cake im gonig to make levi when ron comes up and leans over my desk.
