"Wanna go to the beach?" C/N asked you.
"Um...I can't." You lied.
"Ok maybe tomorrow?"
"Can't." You lied again
"Sorry if I seem like a stalker but what do you have going on that you can't hang out with your best friend?" He chuckled at the last part. You were terrible at coming up with excuses so it took you a while to think of something.
"My dads coming in to town tomorrow."
"Y/N, I know your dad isn't coming until next week Friday." Crap. "Please Y/N. When was the last time we hung out alone. I miss my best friend." He whined. You felt really bad and gave in.
"Fine I'll go tomorrow. Meet at your house at 1:30?" He had the biggest smile on his face. I really didn't want to go but he was so happy.

You grabbed your penny board and sling bag then headed out the door.

Before you rang his doorbell you took a deep breath.

"Hey Y/N! Come in. I just have to grab some last min things then we can get going." He smiled and pulled you into a short hug. You nodded and walked inside.

As you walked to the beach you just talked and laughed. Glad you came with. But when you entered the beach, you remembered exactly why you didn't want to come in the first place.

You guys decided to tan for a bit first so you laid down on beach chairs. He took off his shirt and WOW DID HE HAVE ABS!!! You tried not to blush.

"Aren't you going to take off your clothes?"
C/N asked.

"Not right now." You weren't going to at all.

"Don't be shy, Y/N. We're best friends. I would never make fun of you." C/N was serious as he said this. You just shook your head and went back to tanning.

About 15-20 mins later he asked you to go in the water. You said no the first time, but by the second time you agreed because you were sweating. You took off your shorts but kept your shirt on. You guys started to walk into the water. You found a place where almost no one else was.

"Cmon Y/N. You don't need to keep your shirt on. I don't care what your body looks like. I like you for you." You started to cry. He pulled you into a hug and started to stroke your hair. "Y/N please tell me why this is such a big deal around me."

"Because I'm fat. I don't need other people seeing my stomach and making me feel worse then I already do. That's why I didn't want to come in the first place. I wanted to hang out with you just not...here. I'm sorry I ruined your day." You tried hard not to, but you couldn't help but ball. He pulled out of the hug, still holding on to your arms, staring into your eyes.

"Y/N, none of that is true. Please don't think that. You could have just told me the truth in the first place and we could've went somewhere else if you didn't feel comfortable. If you want to swim tho don't feel bad about taking off your shirt. I promise you are not fat."

"When I saw your abs I felt even worse. I've been trying to hard to get skinny but I just can't." You cried.

"I'm sorry I made you uncomfortable. I can help you if you want. Cmon Y/N, let's swim. You look sweaty!" He helped you take your shirt off. You immediately put your hands around your stomach and cried.

"Y/N, you are...beautiful." C/N looked at you seriously, to show you he means it. But you don't believe him.

"Stop. It's not true. I'm fat!"

"Your not fat, your curvy, which is perfect. Your body, your smile, your laugh, your personality, everything about you is perfect. I like you Y/N, more than a best friend. I love you. I've been so scared to tell you because I don't want to ruin our friendship." C/N was blushing like crazy.

"Really?" Is all you could get out. You started to calm down.

"100% sure." He had the biggest smile on his face. You blushed...hard.

"I-I love you too." You pulled him into the biggest hug ever. After a short time he pulled apart. You were confused at first. Then his lips were placed on yours. They moved in sync as if they were 2 puzzle prices put together. You smiled into the kiss, breaking it. You both had the biggest smiles plastered across your face. You felt better and jumped into the water. C/N coming after you laughing. You were glad you had a best friend like him.
