Chapter 1

Your Pov

Today is Camila and I's 1st anniversary, we've been together for a year now and I couldn't be more happier, sure we have our ups and downs but we forgive each other by acting like an adult and let each other explain. I had a crush on her since High School I was too scared to ask her out because she might not like me the same way but I was wrong, I was just to oblivious to notice that she likes me back. I sat up from our bed and noticed that Camila is not beside me. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that Camila, me and Normani and Lauren live together. I went to the bathroom and did what I had to do and got dressed (outfit above) I grab the bouquet I hid last night and went downstairs.

Camila was making breakfast while singing and dancing her back facing me. I walked up and wrapped my one arm around her "Happy 1st Anniversary princess" I said kissed her neck and cheek.

She turned around and put her arms around my neck and smiled. "Happy 1st Anniversary" she kissed my lips softy smiling.

When air was needed we pulled away from each other. "What you doing?" I asked her.

"I decided to do a little something for you because your always so sweet to me " she grabbed a plate and gave it to me.

"Now go sit down and I'll give you food okay?" She kissed my cheek and continued cooking but before she could I showed her the bouquet I bought last night.

"Here is a little something to start my plans for our anniversary today" I handed her the flowers.

"Awww thank you baby" she smelled the flowers and smiled and kissed me.

We were interrupted by hearing aww's I looked back and saw the girls squealing like they had seen the cutest thing ever.

"That was so cute, I wish I had someone like Y/n with me" Lauren said pouting.

"Don't worry Laur you'll find someone one day" Normani said and I smirked at her she noticed this and glared at me.

We ate our breakfast and it was time to go to work, I work as a CSI I started working there since I was 17 years old. My mom died when I was 11 I saw it all and still today I can remember it like it happened yesterday. Alejandro Cabello my Dad's close friend took care of me since that day with the help of her daughter Camila also my girlfriend they treated me like a child should be treated and I'm really thankful for that. My Dad he's in prison for the crime that he didn't commit but nobody seems to believe him I tried telling Alejandro about it but he wouldn't do anything. I got dressed and went to work, Camila, Normani and Ally went somewhere today.

Alejandro sent me the place where the crime was. "Good Morning guys" I said preparing the stuff I need.

"Hey Y/n, so according to the police they said that the man committed suicide at around midnight" he said.

"Well I don't see anything that he used to kill himself but he may have jumped off from a building because when he jumped and fell flat it made a mark here" I said tracing the mark. (I don't know any of the CSI so just bare with me). After a few more investigation Im finally done so now I have more time to prepare for the date with Camila tonight.

"Hey tiger!" Alejandro called me that is his nickname for me and I don't mind I think it's cool.

"What's up" I said hugging him.

"I just wanted to say Happy Anniversary for you and Camila" he said patting my shoulder.

"Thank you Alejandro but I need to go I need to finish my plans for tonight" I checked my watch and saw it was 3:00 pm.

"No worries Y/n go but hey remember tomorrow at 6:00 we need to finish up your project okay?" He said.

"Got it Bye see ya!" I sprint down to my car.

I headed to the place where our date will be but I need to pass by my lab first to get some thing. Once I got to the building I sprint to my lab and started to find the present I'm planning to give to Camila it's a promise ring and the letter.

I found the box and opened it and there it is the promise ring I smiled to myself i hope Camila will like this. I snapped out of my thoughts and went down to my car but before I could the ground started shaking causing me to drop the box and the letter I looked around papers were floating I looked up to the sky and there was lightning coming down my way I didn't have enough time to react when it hit me everything went black.

Camila's Pov

After we ate breakfast Y/n needed to got to work Normani Lauren and I went to the mall today to buy my outfit for tonight I didn't like the clothes I have. I'm so excited tonight Y/n is so hard working, sweet, kind, funny and understandable not to mention that she's so hot too. Now we are on our way to meet my dad in CCPD.

"Hey dad" i said and hugged as well as Laurmani.

"Hey so you ready for tonight with Y/n?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows and I blushed.

"Yes I'm so excited!" I squealed so loud that the people in the room looked at me Laurmani and my dad and me laughed.

"Uh Mr. Cabello I have some terrible news for you" a guy approached us.

"What is it?" My dad asked.

"Uh so today the particle accelerator of Mr. Harrison Wells exploded causing the whole city to shook and some people got hurt badly including Y/n Y/l/n" the guy said.

No this can't be happening no no no no please tell me this isn't real please tell me that this is just a joke.

"No" I sob and hugged my dad.

"Where is she?" Normani asked crying too holding Lauren's hand.

"She is at the Centre North Hospital" said the guy I was yes no time to run to my car and drove to the hospital.

"Where is Y/n!?" I screamed at the nurse.

"Uh sorry miss but she is in surgery right now" she said.

I sat down on one of the chairs sobbing I did not notice that my dad and Lauren and Normani was there they were crying too. I hope your okay baby.
