By the end of school the next day I had managed not to bump into Jack all day hat he needed to go to the library. As I roam the shelves trying to find the right book. I spot the last person that I want to see today. My luck had run out. Jack sensing my presence turned around with a brilliant smile showing is pearly whites. “Hey Anna don’t you look like an angel today. Yesterday’s events did you good you look radiant.” He said walking over to me. I noticed how he walked elegantly but yet still look as if he owned the place. I felt my hear start to race, and smile shyly at him.  I walk down the aisle still looking for the Flowers in the Attic. I head to the Serve Yourself counter seeing that Alicia was out the back somewhere. I swipe my ID card and the book and place them in my bag. “Hey do you want to chill bang with me this avo?” I gave him a piercing look, “please? We had so much fun yesterday. Plus I won’t keep bugging you until you say yes.” I sigh knowing there was no way to get out of this. “Fine, what do you wanna do?” finding that I was excited, but deep down in the very pit of my stomach I knew this was a bad, bad idea. Something horrible will come out of all this.

An hour later we in the hay loft area of the stables at my place. I plopped myself on a haystack munching on carrot sticks, while Jack ate chips. “So what do you wanna do?”  I ask casually, “How about truth or dare.” He replies with a cheeky grin and a sly look in his eye. “Fine, since you suggested the game I will start, truth or dare?” I say grabbing another carrot stick. “Dare!” he laughs suddenly getting hyped up. I munch on the carrot while thinking of a great dare. “I dare you to call Miss Hood and ask her on a date. Tell her to wear the sexiest thing she can find!” I say trying to be as serious as possible. He picks up his phone a taps in the number I read out from the schools information booklet. I could help but laugh at the strange conversation going and before he hung was rolling on the fall tears rolling down, because I was laughing so hard. We were still playing half an hour later, “Truth or dare?” I ask him, “Truth,” all the half hour we had be playing he had not once said truth, I was glad he said truth because I had no dares left. I automatically asked the question all girls asked in truth or dare, “Who do you like?” I suddenly became serious and when I heard is answer my heart dropped, “Trinity,” he replied simply. Trinity is the biggest bitch and flirt around. She was tiny and blonde. Athletic but the biggest drama queen around. Whenever she got hurt in the slightest she would make a big deal about. For example whenever we played netball and she got pushed over she would cry. But the biggest thing was we used to be best friends until that day in grade three. It was the day teddy bear picnic, instead of going on a picnic our school had the idea of us all bringing our teddies to school and wearing our Pj’s. I brought one of my favourite teddies and Trinity and I had a fight. I took her chocolate and in return she ripped the head of my teddy off. Thankfully it wasn’t the one I snuggled up to when I go to bed. I realized I said all this out loud when Jack burst into laughter. “Shut up! This is not funny!” I scream throwing hay at him. I only made him laugh harder, so I bombed him with hay. He had it everywhere; I even somehow managed to get it in his mouth. Though I guess it shouldn’t have been a surprise since he was laughing. But to my surprise when he found out it was in his hair he went berserk, he grabbed a huge handful and bombed me back.  Half an hour later when we both were so exhausted we brushed all the hay, we could out of our clothes and hair. Then we headed back to my house, “do you want me to order pizza?” I ask pouring myself a glass of water. “Sure, Hawaiian is my favourite.” He replied turning on the T.V and flipping through the channels.

We slowly became better friends as the weeks went by.
