Mom came and she said dinner is ready.
We went to the table and ate mom said she had a surprise for us. I looked at dad but he was also surprised.
"Well... Brianna called and said she will be coming tomorrow!" She said.
We all went silent but it was a very nice surprise because aunt Brianna is now married to this hunk. I almost fell in love with him. He is a football player.
When I was about to finish eating there was a knock on the door. My mom went to open it and who was there... ALEX! My moms smile went away.
"What as you doing here. Didn't I say that you must not come back here." My mom said.
"Well Mrs. Roberts... I am here to apologize to you about yesterday... And these are for you to show that I am truly sorry." Alex said giving my mom the roses.
I can't believe Alex came here just to apologize but it worked because my moms frown went to a big smile.
"Wow... Thank you... Oh, were are my manners, come right in." She said opening the door wider for Alex to come in. I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Alex... It is Alex right?"
"Yes Mrs. Roberts." Alex said.
"Are you hungry? Do you want eat?"
"OK... I guess." He said sitting down next to me.
My mom made him a plate of food and we talked. My mom was embarrassing me the whole way by telling him things about me when I was a baby. Alex thought it was so amusing because he was laughing a lot. When he was done my brother said he wanted to talk to Alex in private. Alex stood up and went with him to my backyard. I wish I knew what they were talking about.
I wanted to ask my mom if I can go to the party tomorrow but I doubt she will let me but I still want to try.
"Mom, can I ask you something and please don't day no. I know I am grounded but can I go, please?"
I asked. I like to ask before I say it.
"What are you talking about?" She said standing up and clearing the table.
"Can I go to Alex's party tomorrow, I wanted to ask you sooner but you didn't let me." I said.
"Well... I am supposed to say 'no' but your 'boyfriend' is a very nice gentleman so I will say... YES. But promise me that you are going to behave and come back home as soon as the party is over."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you mom! You won't regret it. Austin is also coming with me!" I said hugging mom.
I can't believe I am going to my first party!!! But the problem is what am I going to WEAR. I know it is a pool party but I have to look good!
Alex came back but it was time for him to go. He hugged me and said good bye.
I went upstairs and put on my PJs. Today was a wonderful day.😍😍😍
