Melanie's POV:
Today is the first day of school after winter break, I'm really not excited for school to start. I wouldn't say that I'm popular at all, I only have one friend, Sandra. She is the only person I can talk to about everything.
When I arrived school, everything was the same, same annoying people, same jocks, same plastic wannabes that think they are better than everyone else, the worst of them is Jennifer, I could actually kill her if I had the chance to.
The school day actually went by actually really fast which was good, I just wanted to get home as fast as I could. When I came home, Tana, one of my roommates where sleeping on the couch as always, she didn't have a real full time job, she is a drug dealer so since I am still a student, Tana sells me drugs cheaper, that's the one thing no one knows about me, except Tana and Mike, my other roommate, that I'm a drug addict. Mike has a full time job as a chef at his own restaurant.
I ran up to my room and jumped on my bed and fell asleep. I woke up to a voice yelling WAKE UP MELANIE!! WAKE UP. I threw my pillow on the person only to realize that it was Sandra who was just bored and decided to come here without saying anything, not that I complain, she is my best friend and we just show up at each other's houses without telling each other. I quickly jumped of my bed and apologized, I asked her what she was doing here, not that she always has a reason to come here. Sandra said that Tana got arrested for drug dealing, apparently one of her buyers was an undercover cop who had a suspicion that Tana was up to something.
I quickly grabbed my stuff and drove to the police station, just as I walked in Tana's eyes immediately met mine and I just started crying out of nowhere, I know that she is my roommate and stuff but I wasn't that close with her. I started running towards her and begging the police officers to let me say bye to her. They said okay, but one hug and that was it.
I drove home feeling such guilt because it was also kind of my fault to, I was doing something illegal to. I ran up the stairs to my room and locked the door, I don't know why considering that I'm home alone and Mike wasn't getting home until an hour or two. I jumped back on my bed and took a nap. When I woke up I went to my desk and started doing homework. For the first time, my teacher assigned very easy homework so I did the homework in less than 10 minutes. I walked downstairs to a smell of fresh, just out of the oven Mike's special lasagna, he knew that it was my favorite.
As Mike and I ate the delicious lasagna, Mike suddenly noticed that Tana wasn't home, okay so he didn't knew that she was arrested earlier that day. He didn't even know that she was a drug dealer and that I'm a drug addict, well I wouldn't say addict but you know what I mean.
I had soo much explaining to do so I better just start now.
Mike's POV:
Melanie looked scared and was not excited to tell me what is happening but I felt like I needed to know what was happening, they are my roommates and I have lived with them for 2 years, well with Tana, I only have lived with Melanie for almost a year.
Melanie's POV:
Okay so I better just start explaining everything I said.
Well uhm.. Tana is arrested. ARRESTED! FOR WHAT? Mike yelled really loudly whilst jumping out of the chair. I answered by saying that she is a drug dealer and that I'm one of her buyers. Mike was absolutely shocked which I totally 100% understand.
Mike's POV:
Tana is WHAT? And you are on drugs? So that's why Tana has that much money, cause I thought that she just had a part time job or something, but WHAT? Melanie you are only 17, why would you want to do this to yourself, I said.
Melanie was shocked that I reacted this way, she probably thought that I was going to be mad at her and don't talk to her, ever again. I was mad but she is one of my best friends so I wasn't mad at her, I mostly was disappointed in her.
I was so worried about Tana that I couldn't finish my food, I just sat there and was playing with my food, Melanie actually finished her and my food, plus the rest of the lasagna, she was so different than me, when I'm stressed I just can't eat, Melanie in the other hand was eating any food she saw when she was stressed.
I had so many questions but I figured that I should just wait because of what has happened today.

yay chapter two, I know it was very early in the story for something to happen but lolz why noooot.
I decided that I'm gonna update every monday cuz like I posted chapter one on a monday and I don't want to be spamming/not posting at all, so it's easier to just have a certain day to update.
