Spencer's barn,

the power goes out 

doorknob rattles 

Ali scares us 

drink up! she say's

Ali!

she's gone

i think i heard her scream

I wake up in a screaming panic.

I'm covered in sweat, I get blinded by the sun shining through my window. 

Ugh! 

"Tessa Felicia Reed you better not still be in bed!", I heard my mom practically scream from downstairs. I remove the blanket from my cold body getting goose bumps all over my skin.

I let out a squeal as I trip over my shoes on to the floor luckily catching the picture of me and Alison in her room. Hey don't frown someone could be falling in love with your smile. 

I smile as I gently put the picture frame back on my night table  and drag my body to the bathroom.

Don't frown Tessa, don't frown.

My mom pulls up to Rosewood High 

"Are you gonna be alright?". She asks as she pushes my hair behind my ears.

"Yea i'll be fine". 

"Promise". 

I get out of the car shutting the door, giving my mom one final wave and a smile of reassurance as i heard my name being called just as she was driving away.

"Tessa!?"

I turned around to see Emily Fields and Aria Montgomery walking up to me. 

"Oh my god!" 

"Hi, Aria when did you get back?! 

"Yesterday!"

"I almost didn't recognize you, I think the last time we saw each other you had a pink stripe in your hair?".  

"Well when your parents want you to be yourself and you don't know who you are...", you wore it well Emily chimed in. 

"You should have called it's so weird running into you here."

"Oh well we kind of lost touch Tessa remember?". 

"That's what we had to do", I sighed.

"I saw a poster of her yesterday", "God! it's awful". Emily said 

"I mean we all know she's dead right?", she continued.

Aria looked baffled.

"I just never heard anyone say it", i said.

"So I here the new teachers really hot I grinned". 

We sat down at our desk soon enough for Hanna to walk in.  

"Is that Hanna?", Aria asked.

 "She's the "it" girl now" and where there's Hanna there's Mona", I whispered under my breath.

"That's Mona!

"Can you believe it?", I asked.

"Wow!, talk about a makeover", she said while continuing to stare.
