At first there were cats living friendly with each other between the moor and forest territories, but then all left to go to the mountains by Jayfeather (who travelled back in time). When they got to the mountains Jayfeather had to asign the stoneteller and promise them that they would be safe there for generations to come, before he could return to his own time.
