Chapter 2: Locked In?

The room went silent.

"I'm sorry, we're what?" Aomine asked, hoping that he misheard the senior Shutoku shooter.

"We're locked in." Midorima said again.

"No,that's impossible, the janitors are supposed to know we were practicing in the gym until 5!" Kuroko's eyes widened.

"Kuroko," Kagami voiced," it's 7."

"How did we get in then?" Akashi asked out of pure curiosity.

"It must be that thing where you can come in but can't come out."Kagamai suggested.

Akashi nodded his head in agreement but by his facial expression he looked a little worried.

"Will we able to leave?" Murasakibara spoke up, "I don't want my ice cream to melt."

"That's the least of our problems you dolt!" Midorima said angrily.

"Guys," Kise shouted frantically," stop fighting, that will solve nothing, I'm sure there's another way out!"

"Kise's right," Kuroko said," there is no need to panic."

"But my ice cream" Murasakibara whined.

"If you don't want it to melt then eat it!" Aomine said irritated.

"Mine-chin doesn't understand, some of these flavors are for Muro-chin too!" The tall point guard snapped.

"Silence!" Akashi said holding up his hand.

Everyone then turned to the short point guard hoping he had an answer.

Akashi took a deep breath before saying," I feel that if we are all to be locked in a gym for one night I think it'd be in our best interest to get along", he castes a quick knowing glance to Kagami and Aomine before continuing," think of it this way, at least we are not stuck in a closet together."

"Might as well be with bright blondie over here" Aomine gestured his thumb to where Kise was rubbing against Kuroko face again.

Kise looked up,excited suddenly.

"So what Akashichii is trying to say is that this is technically, kind of, maybe, sort of a sleepover?" Kise gave hopeful puppy dog eyes to Akashi.

The light red haired man thought to himself for a minute before nodding his head,"yes I guess you could say that."

The bubbly small forward then got the world's biggest grin on his face and shrieked,"IT'LL BE JUST LIKE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL!"

"This is gonna be a long ass night." Aomine said.

Kise,however totally ignoring Aomine's snarky comments now, said cheerily," we should play some games!"

Akashi,who was now the leader of this situation, nodded his head,"yes I agree, we should play some games,what games should we play Ryōta?"

"Why are you letting him pick Akashi have you gone mad?!" Midorima said startled at the ex captain of Teiko's suggestion to let the over the top blonde decide what kind of things they would do together in this dark gym.

"Oh relax Midorima, I'm sure he won't pick anything to crazy." Kagami said trying to calm the angry carrot down.

"Maybe you're right Kagami." Midorima said. As long as he doesn't pick what I hope he won't. Midorima thought.

Just then Kise snapped his fingers,"we should play truth or dare!"

"That's a wonderful idea Kise-kun." Kuroko said positively to the glowing blonde.

"Really Kurokochii you really think so!" The blonde small forward's eyes sparkled with tears at the brim.

"Yeah," Kagami piped up,"it would give us a chance to get to know everyone before we all go off to college!"

"I like Ryōta's idea and I agree with Taiga's point." Akashi smiled.

"Do I still get to eat my snacks?" the purple haired giant said.

"Of course Murasakibarachii!" Kise exclaimed.

"Then I'm okay with Kise-chin's game." Murasakibara popped a potato chip in his mouth.

"What about you Aomine-kun?" Kuroko looked over to the tanned male.

Aomine shrugged his shoulders," I've got nothing better to do."

Everyone then simultaneously turned there heads to Midorima.

"Shintarō?" Akashi question.

Midorima had the look of pure terror and disgust on his face.

I have to spend an entire night with a bunch of idiots save for Akashi and Kuroko, I have to listen to Murasakibara munch on his breakfast, lunch and dinner the whole time, and I have to play truth or dare which is my worst nightmare. It can't possibly get any worse! Can it?

Midorima's thoughts were halted when Kise also blurted out," you can go first Midorimamachii!"

Yes, Midorima thought, it can.
