Mr. Possessive Best-friend

Chapter 6

We arrived at Cayden's and I immediately jumped out even before the car came to a stop and ran to the house and I kept hearing Cayden's calls of me and I knew he was furious but I didn't care I want to see Henry I went into the living room.

I saw Cayden's mom and she smiled when she saw me and pulled me into a warm hug and said "hey Rach, long time no see" and I told her "yeah mom, I was busy with school..." and if your wondering why I called her mom no Im not her daughter and no she is not my step mom its just I lived half my life with them and she's like a second mom to me.

Then she kissed my cheek and said "Later, I have to go to work and yeah where's Cayden?"

And I told her "He's outside, but probably pissed off ohh and where's henry?" and she gave me a knowing look and smiled then said "He's in his room, bye" she went out probably to talk to her son and go to work.

And I ran straight to Henry's room, he was 3 years old he was playing with his game I neared him and said "Hey little one" and he turned around, when he saw me he had a big smile on his face and he got up came running to me and hugged my leg cause he's short.

he said "Ray-ray" that's what he calls me I looked down and saw that he was opening his arms for me so that I would take him I gladly bent down and took him in my arms then held him him, he was the cutest kid ever he hade blonde hair and some curls he's a smaller copy of Cayden but Henry was cuter for sure.

Henry kissed my cheek and said "i miss you" he didn't talk much he was still young I told him "I missed you too, little one" I played with his curls and he giggled he was so adorable just then the devil barged in (Cayden).

he said "RACHEL!!" I acted innocent and said "what C?"  he said "why did you jump from the car? ,you could have gotten hurt" I just smiled innocently and said "it stopped and I missed Henry" I hugged Henry closer and Cayden sighed and said "ok, and would you like to sleep over? cause mom will work late today" I told him "sure" and he smiled then kissed my cheek and Hayden pushed him away  I giggled.

And said to Henry "C'mon wanna go watch some cartoon?" and he nodded and I took him with me downstairs to the living room and heard Cayden say "And what about me?"  I told him "want me to carry you too?" and he rolled his eyes and came down.

I sat Henry in the couch and went to the table to bring the remote, when I came back I saw that Cayden was there and he was on the other side of the couch so I could sit between them and I chuckled and went and sat beside Henry  Cayden scooted closer to me and Henry moved to sit on my lap and I put my hand on him.

Cayden said "Mom said to not carry him much and let him sit on others or he will never learn to sit by himself or walk"

I told him "And from when do you listen to what your mother say?!" and raised one eyebrow at him, he glared at me and said "Just put him down" I looked at Henry and he gave me pleading eyes and I turned to Cayden and told him "but I don't want to pleaaaase C" he gave me the look that said I-just-told-you and I knew that his mother wont be happy if I didn't do so.

I put Henry down and he said "Ray-ray" and came again and sat on me and I engulfed him and said to Cayden "I don't care he's too cute" he just rolled his eyes and kept watching the cartoon  I felt Henry stir I looked at the clock and knew its his sleep time, I put him on my stomach and I put my head on the end of the couch I stretched on the coach and I felt Cayden's hand on my leg and saw Cayden putting my legs on his lap i smiled at him as a thanks and he smiled back and then I fell into a deep sleep.....
