I attempt to close my mouth but it's futile. I can smell the food from here, and let's just say it's phenomenal. The mixture of smells are indecisive on what i might be eating. Honestly i don't care, as long as it taste as good as it smells.
"I think she might be drooling" I hear someone say with a chuckle, awakening me from my dream land with the food.
I snap my head to what I'm assuming is where the voice was spoken.
"What?" I reply with a snap.
"I think she just took an imaginary bite." Jokes Gabriel.
It completely registers that Gabriel and Jack were clowning on the way I was looking at the food.
"Oh hardy har har" I tease back, yet take a big gulp after word. It was something I had seen one of my class mates do and I really wanted to do it to someone. That was quite brave of me to do, considering I DON'T FREAKING BELONG HERE!
I turn back to the food, hoping they wont torture me by eating it in my face.
As that thought passes my mind, i hear another chuckle from across me. I ignore it, already knowing it's Jake. I'm starting to think they can hear my thoughts, either that or the longer I stay here the more crazy i get.
They set the plates in front of everyone. I secretly pray to myself that i receive a plate, luckily after a few seconds my wish was granted.
Just like in the movies, for rich people, my personal servant lifts the lid to my plate. Portraying an extra cheesy bacon cheese burger, practically making me drool.
If anything was being said, I didn't care. I dived in, picking the huge burger up with both hands. Half way through my burger, I start to hear light clicking noise. Looking up in mid-bite, i seek what the noise is.
Seeing the old hag...i mean Klystas Mom. She rudely stares at me, full on glare. I sit up quickly, sitting the burger down on my plate.
Already standing up, she gives a light cough to start her "speech" I'm guessing.
"Now that I have everyone's attention," She harshly begins, staring right at me. She eventually looks at everyone and continues, "I'd now like to introduce our.." She pauses, a grim look quickly crossing her face, "Alexandra." She finally says my name, seeming to regret it.
Am I the only one seeing her hatred toward me? I look over at Jack, a look of confusion covering his face. I give a quick check on Gabriel, seeing the same look for a second. His face completely changed once I reached eye contact with him.
I ignore it all, listening to the rest of her dumb speech. The quicker i find a way out, the better. I sit up straight, a some-what of an attempt to look serious. Not many people do care to glance back at me to have a face recognition with the name, or shall i say, my name. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing right now.
"As all of you, or.." she nods her head in my direction, seriously pointing out the "newbie" or in my words, their next subject; their oblivious monkey. "most of you know, I am Mrs.Bott." She greets, he face revealing an all-too-fake-smile.Her short introduction is greeted by a clap, as everyone around the table treats her back with the same cheesy smile. Although as i travel my line of sight all along the table, some of those smiles may even be real. Especially from Gabriel.
She continues on, living on a final note with a greet to me. Stating in front of the crowd, " And lets warmly greet our newest member to WWW.Co. World Wide Witches Corporation. Congratulations Alexander" She welcomes me, lightly clapping. I'm starting to wish no one was looking at me again. Too afraid to see their reaction, I stare at the floor.
Where ever the hell I am, I starting to second question if death is worse or not.
