The light of the sun peaked over the trees in Scotland. The fairies and animals of the forest stretched their limbs and opened their eyes to begin a brand new day of work and play. Fairies patched up leaves and plants to get help to construct their houses. The sun warmed the animals and creatures of the forest. Some slithered out of their holes, other scampered up trees, and many ran to the edge of the forest to look at the glorious castle.

The castle was as tall as any mountain, with large stone walls and a gate that would open to anyone who asked. People buzzed around the inside of the kingdom, where a large wall surrounded the castle from the outside world. Vendors in wooden carts showcased their goods to noblemen and soldiers, hoping to get rich easily. Guards stood at any door that entered the castle and waved hello to duchesses in long frilly dresses, or maids in flat, plain ones. Here was the center of life in the kingdom, the true heart. The rest of the kingdom wasn't as active but there was a lot of pushing, shoving, and money dealings.

Past the wall and between the forest and the castle sat the rest of the kingdom with these traits. Little children with their mothers waved to their fathers, which were off to the forest. Many documentors or hunters lived in the kingdom, and many didn't get along or got along all too well. Still, everyone was treated equal and had good pay, so it was no wonder that the kingdom was overflowing with magic and people.

The Kingdom of Alba was the prize kingdom, and it was no doubt that everyone wanted to visit the kingdom at least once in their lives. It was constructed so that every morning when the sun rose, the animals and creatures in the forest would be hit by the warmth of the sun. The light would be directed to the forest in an ever so elegant way.

Even through all the glory, Alba had dark secrets in its forest and people. People easily gave everything for money and power. The social standards often tore hunters and documentors apart. Many did not wish to marry, and some wished to live in the castle with their many children. Everything was in a delicate balance, and one attack or one magic spell could tilt the scales all the wrong way.

Most of the people weren't aware of this, except for the elite. Except for the king that sat on his tall chair so he could see all. But many were kept in the dark of changes in their very own kingdom. Lilian Thorton and Sayde Todd weren't prepared for their future, the start of a new life and a chance for riches. An adventure beyond dreams. Beyond their safe castle walls. Soon, the first of many adventures would start, and the lives that would be saved would be immense.
