Never Too Late

Everything Happens For A Reason..

"Please don't do this..dont leave me."

"I'm sorry, I have to..I can't live like this anymore..I can't take the abuse anymore Brian.."

"I'll change I promise..Jade don't leave.. I need you."

- Today -

I woke up from a very bad dream of my ex-boyfriend who used to abuse me for 3 years. I tried to push away the thought of him while I got ready for my first day of my new job, well..orientation.

I got in the shower and did my business, washed my face and got out. I started blaring my favorite Sleeping With Sirens song and put my uniform on. After I got dressed I did my usual makeup, foundation and mascara.

I walked down to my living room and looked for my puppy, Bear. I found him laying on my chair, and picked him up and took him out. While he was outside I went and made my hot tea, since I don't like coffee. Bear walked up to the door and I let him in and fed him. I put my mug in the sink when I was done drinking it. I grabbed my purse and keys and said bye to Bear and was out the door. When I got into my car I had to put the windows down, it felt like it was at least 98° inside my car. Once all the windows were down I was on my way to my new job as a cashier at a grocery store.

I walked in the store and went to the customer service desk and asked Christine who I should see about my orientation, she told me to go upstairs and talk to the manager, so I did.

The manager told me to sit out in the break room and wait for everyone to get there. While I was sitting there I took my phone out and texted my best friend, Kayla.

Me: So I had a dream about Brian this morning..

Kayla: Are you okay? What was it about?

Me: I think I'm okay..and it was about the day I left him..do you think I should've stayed?

Kayla: Shut the hell up. No. Aren't you at work right now?

Me: Way to change the subject but yeah I'm waiting for everyone to get here. Oh gtg they just got here. Love you bitch

Kayla: Wow. Lol love you too hoe!

Everyone sat down and waited for the manager to come out. When she came out we went over the store policies and everything and then they said we were going on a scavenger hunt. So we got up and walked down the steps and started looking for the stuff on our list. When that was over we went to the door and said goodbye and the manager told me I had to work tomorrow with a smile on her face.

I went home and put Bear outside and started dinner. When he was ready to come in I let him in and then I ate my dinner. I watched my favorite shows while I was cuddling with Bear and ended up falling asleep on the couch.
