(Hey! I'm so sorry I havent been on this in ages! I decided I hate my last story and felt nothing was happening with it, so sorry to the few people who enjoyed it. I'm going to start a new Liam fic called 'Pain' I hope you enjoy it!)
Chapter One.
I've never had a good memory. I can barely remember what I had for tea last night, never mind childhood memories or important things to do. But there's two days I can remember crystal clear.
The first, December 31st 2010. My first Christmas season at University. All the students got together new years eve for a huge bash, I decided to tag along, it was better than sitting alone, watching another year drift in. It was around 10pm I saw her. She wore a pastel coloured flowery dress, with a small cut out waistband, decorated with white lace daisies, with a pair of nude heels. Her light brown hair, fell around her face, in ruffled beach waves, and natural looking make up. Her eyes shone as she spoke to another girl who, also, was very pretty, but nothing compared to my brunette. After around 10 minutes of convincing myself to pluck up the courage to speak to her, I walked up to her and introduced myself. Her voice was almost sweeter than her looks, and she spoke with a confidence that would make any man fall to their knees. Amelia, she had said her name was. Amelia. A perfect name for a perfect girl. I knew from then on I was in love.
Two years we had been together. Two years of happiness. Two years of love. I knew I was young, but I knew I couldn't be without her. She was the girl I wanted to spend my life with. I loved her.
She was there. In the living room with me on the 26th November 2012 when it happened. The other, not so happy memory that has failed to leave my brain. Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model was on tv and we were cheering for our favourite, Jade, to win.
"Pause the tv for a sec, I'm gonna grab a drink, d'you want one?" I had asked her. She had nodded and smiled her reply.
I'm not really sure what happened next. I just remember Amelia flashing her beautiful smile, and then opening my eyes to a hysterically sobbing Amelia, with mascara staining her soft cheeks.
She had stayed with me for the next two days, rarely leaving my side, or stop crying. God dammit, to this day I wish I could erase that memory, out of all the things I have been through, that is the worst. The constant pain and crying I caused her. I hated seeing the effect it took on her. A glint of light had gone missing from her beautiful chocolate eyes.
In a way I suppose she took the news worse than me. From the moment the doctor walked in I could tell something terrible had caused my trip to the hospital. It felt like a movie. Everything went in slow motion, Amelia stopped squeezing my hand and let it drop down onto the uncomfortable bed I had been in for what seemed like an eternity. I suppose we both knew things would never be the same again. I mean, I was almost 100% certain she was going to leave me, but then again, her heart was too kind to desert a boy with terminal cancer.

hope you enjoyed the first chapter, it was just a sort of background knowledge chapter. I have got a feeling I know how this book will pan out but I'm not sure, but your predictions are always welcome and may help me so much! please vote/comment or something if you liked this (or even if you didn't) so I know weather to continue or not!
