Calum, Luke, Michael, and Ashton are complete strangers to Jewel at first but when they end up together on the most dangerous night of the year they become close. Follow them on their quest to stay alive
"Someone has to get her up." I hear someone whisper. "Well i don't know what kind of sleeper she is. So she might punch me in the face." I hear. I think that's calum. "Well none of us know. We just met her. Why did we pick her up anyway?" That was Michael. "I don't know. There was just something about her." Luke says. I smile to myself. I sit up and stretch. "Uhhh excuse me. Why are we stopped?" I ask. "Ashton and peanuts had to use the bathroom." Luke answered. "Is it safe to be parked in the middle of the street like this?" I ask. "You ask a lot of questions love." Luke says. "Well I want a lot of answers." I say smartly. He turns around and smirks at me. I shrug nonchalantly and cock my head to the side. He chuckles and shakes his head. "Where are you guys from?" I ask. "Australia." Micheal says. I nod. There is a knock on the door and calum slides it open. Ashton and peanuts jump in. "There's a store up the road." Ashton says. Luke puts the keys in and I look to my left. "No! Get down!" I scream. I grab peanuts and put him under the middle seat on the driver's side. Ashton covers my head.
Luke pulls out a gun and starts shooting out of his window. Ashton pulls my head into his chest. "Who is this?" Ashton shouts to Luke. "I don't know mate!" He replies. "Just drive!" Michael shouts. Luke pulls off. I cry into Ashton's chest. Calum rubs my back. "I don't think I can do this." I sniffle. "Yes you can." Calum says. "We'll protect you." I smile at him. "Why do you all care so much about me if you don't know me?" I ask. "There's something about you." Michael says looking at Luke. Luke nods. Ashton looks at me and smiles. "We're family for the next eleven and a half hours." Calum says. "So we might as well be close." I look at everyone and smile. "Then let's do this." I say. "Attagirl." Luke says. Ashton squeezes my shoulder. I look into his eyes. He smiles shyly. "So are we just gonna sit here?" Michael asks. I hadn't even noticed we stopped. "Let's get out." Luke says. "Can I change first?" I ask. The boys nod and cover their eyes. I change into some ripped blue jeans and a crop top.

"Ok boys." I say. Luke turns around. "Belly piercing? Nice." He says winking. "Not as innocent as you seem." Ashton says getting back on the floor with me in the back. Peanuts jumps off of calum and lays between my crossed legs. "Imma put the van in that alleyway. You guys just get out and go in now." Luke says. The boys get out and peanuts follows them. "Aren't you gonna get out?" Michael asks. "No I think I'm gonna sit this one out." I say nervously. Calum looks at Ashton. "Are you sure?" Calum asks. "Yes very sure." I say looking into his eyes. They were filled with fear. "Well you come get us if something happens." Ash says. "Sir yes sir." I say. They close the door. Luke pulls the van into the alley. He crawls over his seat and over to me. "Take this. The safety is on. I hope you know how to turn it off." He says handing me a gun. I nod. He kisses my forehead. "Gotta go." He says. He slides the door open then slams it shut. I look out the side window. Then a bullet flies past. What the! "Luke! Michael! Ca-" I start to scream. I hear someone trying to force the side door open. I cry. Then the front door flies open. A man in a clown mask crawls over the front seat slowly. I scream. "Ohhh you don't want to play my game baby girl?" He asks. I scream. "Help!!! Help me please!!!" I cry. The clown pulls out a gun. "Shut up. Unless you want a bullet through you." He says menacingly. I bite my lip and the tears stream down my face. He reaches out and wipes my tears away. "Wow. You're gorgeous. Even in the dark." He says. He grabs my chin and holds my head up. "Such beautiful brown eyes." He moans. The front door flies open again. "Get your hands off of her!!" Ashton screams. "Well it took you all long enough." The clown laughs. "What do you want?" Luke asks. "Well I've always wanted a toy. You see I really like to play games." The clown says excitedly. Luke crawls over the front seat. The clown points his gun at him letting go of my face. I quickly grab my gun and turn off the safety. Luke Reaches over to me but the clown shoots him in the shoulder. "Luke!" I scream. The clown turns around and I shoot him in the head. His blood splatters all over me. I slide open the door and throw the clown out. Michael jumps in the front seat. The other boys get in the back with me and Luke. "Luke. Are you alright?" I ask. I raise his head. He smiles at me. "You have nice boobs." He says looking up at me. I giggle and sigh in relief. "Can you pass me my bag?" I ask. Calum passes it to me. I reach and turn on the light. I grab the tweezers, the gauze, the neosporin, the water bottle, and the medical tape. "Luke this might hurt." I say softly. He nods. "Ok. Calum can I grab your hand?" He asks. "Of course mate." He says. I reach into his wound with the tweezers and pull out the bullet, having to twist it out a little. "Bloody he-" Luke begins but I cut him off by pooring water onto his wound. "Can someone pass me some gloves and my needle and thread?" Ash grabs it. I put on the gloves. And grab the needle and thread. I dip the needle in the water then wipe it down with neosporin. I begin to stitch up his wound. After I finish I put some more neosporin on it and cover it with gauze, and medical tape.
"Thanks for protecting me." I say and kiss him on the cheek. He smiles "anytime love." I smooth his hair back. "You should rest." Ashton says. "We'll wake you in a little bit mate." Luke closes his eyes. I look at him then at Ashton and calum. "Where'd you learn to do that?" Calum asks. "Well my mom's a doctor and my grandmother was a nurse in WWII." I say. "That's awesome." Calum says. I smile. "Can we stop somewhere and get some new clothes? Me and Luke are kinda bloody." I say. "Sure thing." Micheal says.
