I Wanna Run

Sae sits in his bedroom with his earbuds in listening to Bryson Tiller cleaning his Jordans.

Sae's POV:

"Life, how am I supposed to live this thing called life?" I thought to myself . "Why have I not found that special someone yet? Why am I still not in school? Why am I doing nothing besides Working at a job I don't really care for?" The money thats why. I guess I could have answered my ownselves question. Right now, its all about the money. My thoughts were interrupted by my sister DeeDee busting in my room.
"Brother!!" she said, I already knew she was wanting me to do something. And yes, she always calls me 'Brother' unless she's mad at me. Then I'm 'Sae'. "Wassup, Dee?" I said. "Its almost time for me to go to work! You know I like to be early!" swinging her purse around her shoulder and pulling her phone out her back pocket. "Alright, lemme put on some shoes and I'll take you". "Thank You Brother!!!" she ran up to me and kissed me on the cheek and ran downstairs. I went to my closet and put on my slides, grabbed my wallet, my keys, and my phone and walked downstairs. "Come on lets go!" I yelled and she followed me out the door. Dee Dee's job is at our local shopping mall. After I dropped her off I stopped by the gas station across the street and got me a Coke Slushee. It blessed my life! I got back home in time for me to take a shower before it was time for me to go to work. I took off my clothes in the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror and saw better. I could see me having better in life. That made me happy. So I hop in the shower, clean myself and get out. As I'm drying off I hear my phone ringing in my room. So I run to it and see its my best friend Dave asking if I was picking him up from his home. I said yeah, hurried up and put my uniform on, grabbed my phone, wallet, keys and name tag and scurried out the door.

Dave POV:

Currently waiting on Sae's slow ass to come and pick me up. After 10 minutes of waiting that actually felt like hours he honked the horn. I grab my phone and keys and walk out the door running to his car. The good thing is our job is 3 minutes away from my house.
"Wassup Bro" I said as I put my seatbelt on. "Wassup lil nigga What you been up to?" He asked. " Man nothing really, just chilling. What about you " "Man a lot has been going on in my head. Just a little stressed out" I was about to ask what was going on but his favorite song came on (Panda by Desiigner) and he turned up the radio and went ham. Midways in the song we pull up in the parking lot of our job.

Sae POV:

After I had my pre work turn up We got out the car and walked in.
"So everything okay"? Dave asked. "Yeah, but I'll tell you later." we both clocked in and went to our stations. Im in a state of confusion. For 22 years I've been confused on what I wanted. And if you're wondering what I'm talking about....... It's that I'm confused about my sexuality. Of course I've had numerous girlfriends, I mean look at me, but theres this one guy who catches my attention and he works in my station. We work with Lazer Tag, so basically what you gotta do is play a video and supervise by watching the cameras. He's cute I guess, only reason i guess is because i never said that a guy was cute before... So its weird.
"Hey Sae, Wassup?" he said, "Wassup Aaron, and nothing really. You?" "Im doing alright." he replied. He did kind of seem down, not his normal happy self. "Is everything okay" I asked very concerned. "Me and this dude broke up" WOAH! I didn't know he was gay tho. "Wait... you're gay?" "Yeah... is that a problem?" he scowled at me. "Oh man no not at all!" I quickly responded, hoping he didn't take that the wrong way. "Are you busy tonight?" I asked him, other than my slight feelings for dude, he's a really cool person. "I was just planning on coloring my hair." he said. "Oh what color?" I asked, I've had my share of dying and bleaching hair. "Im really thinking making my tips blonde" he said. "Come over and I can do it for you, no charge." I said, lowkey getting excited. "Really!? You'd do that for me!?" He said with a lot of excitement. "Yeah bro I got you, but aye its time for the next session." We exchanged a glance at each other, it was kinda cute and we proceeded in getting the next group prepared for play.
