On a wandering boat trying to find a land

The wind and the pouring rain got the best of him so he kept thinking of the dry sand

He has been wondering for months trying to find himself , trying to understand

All those unanswered questions about life's weird events

He knows all things happen for a reason

Yet thinking too much has kept him awake at night

He got all those dreams and plans but never knew when it was the right time to fight

Along the way he traveled , missing pieces of himself have been found

When he was just about to give up things started to turn around

He found peace in solitude

No more voices to tell him what he couldn't do or what he could

He never thought he could get this far on his own

Now he knows what's really like to be left alone

People will tell you all the time they'll always be there for you

But when it comes to it that's never true

Sometimes you have to be your own hero

Because at the end of the day when friends leave and everyone is asleep

The only sound you can hear is your own heartbeat

In life You're a traveler everyday to a brand new land

The wind is gonna shake you every time you try to stand

But when you fight your way through life and conquer your fears

The skies finally clear out and the golden sand appears
