Hit The Beach!

Sorry it took so long to write, iPad kept dying before I could finish but, here it is!

The next day, Lucy woke up with Natsu next to her. She went to the cabin that Wendy said she would be staying in.

"Morning, Wendy!" Lucy opened the door to reveal Wendy sitting down on the ground, combing her hair.

"Good morning, Lucy!" Wendy greets her with a smile and sets down her comb

"Have you seen Mira?" Lucy asks "I know that she came with Lauxis but I don't know what cabin they're in and I need to ask her something,"

"I think she's in Cabin Red, why?"

"It's about the lock down, she runs a lot of things and I'm wondering if she knows anything about it,"

"She might," Wendy begins "I overheard Lisanna talking about it so she might know something,"

"Thanks!" Lucy smiles and leaves the cabin.

Mira is sitting on the bed, waiting for Lauxis who's in the bathroom, when Lucy comes in.

"Good morning, Mira!" Lucy smiles at Mira

"Morning, Lucy! What do you need so early?" Mira greets her with a smile

"Wendy overheard something Lisanna said and we were wondering if you knew anything about it,"

"Does it have something to do with the island?" Mira questions

"Yes," Lucy explains the lock down situation to Mira

"Of course," Mira pauses when Lauxis comes out of the bathroom

"What's Lucy doing here?" Lauxis raises his eyebrows

"Asking about the lock down," Mira says casually

"So you know about it?" Lucy beams

"Of course, Lisanna wouldn't leave me out on info!" Mira waves it off, as if it were a simple answer "The more romantic everything is, the quicker they're going to take off the lock down!"

"Thanks!" Lucy skips out the door

Levy walks out of the bathroom and Gajeel is awake. He is sitting on the end of the bed with a shirt in his hands. Levy's shirt.

"What are you doing with my shirt?" Levy asks

"I found it on the beach," Gajeel starts "It was wet so I took it inside to dry,"

"I haven't even taken this out of my bag yet!" Levy examines the shirt "I didn't even bring this one!"

"Who cares? It's here now," Gajeel picks her up and kisses her forehead. Levy smiles and kisses his chin.

At that moment, Lucy and Mira walk in to warn them about the lock down.

"On second thought, I don't think we need to warn them," Lucy starts to walk out

"Wait," Gajeel interrupts "warn us about what?"

"After tonight, when we can leave and get our reward, "Mira sighs "They're going to put the island on lock down until they've seen enough romance," 

"With all the couples, including Happy and Charle," Lucy says

"And why did you need to add that in?" Levy asks

"Because Happy has been hanging out with Natsu more than Charle," Lucy says

"So we're here forever?" Gajeel asks

"No, I'm going to distract Natsu so Happy can't spend time with him." Lucy finishes

Happy hugs Charle and Charle hugs him back. If Happy didn't think Charle would ever like him, those doubts were flushed down the toilet. They walk to the beach, hand in hand.

"Heads up!" Happy throws a soft shell at Charle like a football. She catches it with extreme ease.

"How 'bout this?" Charle throws a big shell at Happy and it narrowly misses his ear. He grunts and throws seaweed. "Blegh!" Charle gags and jumps in the water.

Happy follows and they get into a splashing fight. After Happy gives in, Natsu and Lucy go outside for a walk on the beach.

"Natsu!" Happy smiles and waves over Natsu. Charle rolls her eyes and walks over to Happy.

"I'm.. I'm in the middle of something," Natsu sighs and turns to Lucy

"So I can't spend a lot of time with Happy?"

"No, the lock down will last forever if you do. I'm going to get sick of fish eventually!" Lucy rubs Natsu's chest as she talks "I don't mind a few extra days,"

"I don't either," Natsu smiles and kisses Lucy's cheek

"I'm glad. I just don't want to live here for years!" Lucy frowns and looks at the ocean

"What?" 

"High tide is normally at three here, I checked with Lisanna," Lucy looks at Happy and Charle falling under the waves "Isn't it only eleven?"

"Yeah, what's going on?" Natsu scans the water and spots a giant fan "There it is!"

Long enough yet? Yeah, I know, I'm gonna make them longer. Don't worry, soon I'm gonna have one with at least a thousand words.
