Goals? Part 1

Sky POV

King and I pulled up in the school parking lot. Everybody was heading into double door school entrance. We got out the car and hurried up the stairs so we wouldn't be late for class.

We had 5 minutes before class started officially so King walked me to my locker where Kay was. 

"About time yall got here and damn he did a good job." She said touching my hair.

King smirked "I know it's on fleek ain't it." 

"Yeah I might need you to do mine." She told him.

"Where yo man at Kay?" I grinned  just to piss her off.

"I swear if you make a big deal out of this i'm gone be petty." She pointed towards us. 

"Shut up i'm just playing." She rolled her eyes at me.

"I hope they get stuck like that." she smacked her teeth.

I grabbed what all i needed and we went to class with King arm around me.

When we walked in everybody was starting to get in they seat. I saw that Amber girl with her friends she looked at me and King and rolled her eyes. I gave her a big toothy smile deciding to kill her with kindness for right now.

I sat beside Kamari at our table King sat beside me and Kay sat beside Kamari. We had Group tables because yesterday they they had a social club and didn't feel like changing the tables back. 

Mikael walked in he door gave the teacher his late slip and came and sat beside Kay.

"Whats up bruh where u been?" King asked him.

"Some people wanted to get on and I put them on as corner boys after school." I nodded my old corner boys was slacking.

"Thats coo everybody else was slacking."I told him.

"What we suppose to be doing?" Kay asked.

"Bell ringer then we suppose to read a story and write down discussion paragraph on what we read."They nodded and went to grabbing pencil and paper. 

I finished the questions and Started reading the book. Everybody else was still working on the bell ringer.

The book was about gods and goddesses and this guy who though he did everything without the gods and goddesses help. He couldn't get home and they were the ones preventing him to get home. They did it to prove a point that the guy in the story Odysseus was nothing without gods.

That's exactly what I wrote on my paper too with a little bit more. I went to turn my paper in I was the first one done which is kind of normal. The teacher looked at my paper and read it to her self and smiled witch made me smile. 

"Very well miss Sky this assignment was suppose to take up the rest of the class period but you finished early and did completely amazing on it. I might talk to someone about putting you in the college level AP class." I nodded.

"Well since i'm done can I get on my phone and thank you."I told her. I didn't feel the need to be rude to teachers like other kids. If your good to them they actually let you get away with a lot of stuff plus when I do get in trouble it's easier for me to ease up out of it. That's why I build relationships with my teachers.

"I don't care what you do you finished and as long as you don't disturb others i'm alright with it."She went back to doing what ever she was doing and I plugged in my earphones.

I blasted music and scrolled through my Facebook news feed. I stopped at a picture of Mikael and Archaic hugged up. I smiled to my self i'm glad my best friend is happy but Mikael know what the deal is if he hurt her. I held the like button and clicked the heart like option.
