A white tall marble building towered over them; flags of claret red hung from the tall castle walls and the statues guarding the place seemed to follow the path of intruders or members. The twilight sky settled on the skyline and fluffy clouds danced in the breeze, the sunset trickled through the gaps in the clouds and streams of colour dived through the atmosphere and streaks of light streamed through Kirito's hair like entangled highlights through his luscious midnight hair.
"Here we are," Asuna exclaimed excitedly "the Knight of the Blood Oath headquarters." Kirito stared up at the enormous marble building and gasped marvelled over its beauty. "It's huge..." Kirito gasped, his cold reply swiftly followed "but I don't want to be in a guild, I work alone." Asuna sighed loudly "you have no choice, you've been assigned to our guild under command of the game."
The gates of the headquarters opened slowly, a gaggle of ancient hinges creaking as it did so. Crystal white floors dazzled and beams of beautiful light danced on the walls; everything was white, as if the room was coated in snow and everything was spotless. Statuesque pillars stood either side of a beautifully designed staircase and banners hung majestically from the pillars, each adorned with the claret red cross of the Knights of the Blood Oath. The sight of the azure sky and verdant tree tops caught the corner of Kirito's eye.
The crystal white doors opened slowly to reveal a dazzling white room, a gently sloping desk in the centre with a prestigious looking man sitting rear to it. A serious glare adorned his face; his what seemed to be perfect cheek bones protruded from his pale cheeks and his eyes were of a neutral brown. His string like hair was of a light brown and he wore a scarlet coat, lightly coated in rays of milky white. Asuna turned to Kirito and spoke softly 'This is Heathcliff, he runs our guild. Heathcliff, this is Kirito the one you sent for.' At the sound of her voice, he arose from his chair and advanced towards them; he studied Kirito as if he was a specimen and replied 'yes, I've heard a lot about you,' Heathcliff declared 'you're very skilled; talent cannot be taught, only awakened and yours has been awarded to you at an early age.' Kirito turned to Asuna who was grinning eagerly at him. 'Kirito, will you join the Knights of the blood oath?' Heathcliff pleaded. Kirito turned back to Asuna how urged him whilst waiting in hopeful anticipation and Kirito pondered on the thought. Kirito turned to Asuna and stated 'my last guild died because I lured them into a trap by mistake, I can't let this happen again.' Heathcliff crossed his arms and and sighed 'your decision is final, I hold no resentment towards you.'
