Mister Tanaka

1 At the beach

Sonia was sitting at the beach. Her blonde hair moved slowly in the warm breeze, as she looked at the bright blue sea, making its calming sound. She looked up at the dark blue sky. It was filled with an endless amount of shining stars. She streched her right hand out as far as she managed, as if she was trying to reach the stars. But it was hopeless. As hopeless as it could be. Sonia was sitting at the beach. Her blonde hair moved slowly in the warm breeze, as she looked at the bright blue sea, making its calming sound. Sonia was feeling home sick. She looked up at the dark blue sky. It was filled with an endless amount of shining stars. She streched her right hand out as far as she managed, as if she was trying to reach the stars. But it was hopeless. As hopeless as it could be. Sonia felt home sick. Even with the girls' and the boys' talents combined, nobody managed to find a way out of this big, lonely island. Not even with Souda's mechanic talent.

Sonia felt a sudden anger rise up in her body. As if Souda could actually do anything more than annoy her. He always followed her around at the big island. Where ever she went, he was sitting behind a palm tree, waiting for the perfect time to come and talk to her. If she decided to go out for a swim with Ibuki and Mikan, he was always there, spying at the three girls, as they swam around in the water. If she wanted to stay in her cottage, and watch some news, not even the curtains could stop him from staring at her, from outside the window.

Sonia gasped. She suddently felt a cold hand touch her right shoulder, as her whole body went cold. She turned around, ready to see one of her dear class mates, standing there with a knife, ready to kill her before she could even see who it was. But the only person she saw, was Gundham. His face was pale, as it always was, and his bandaged arm placed on her shoulder.

"Mister Tanaka, you scared me", Sonia said quickly, but she didn't raise up. Instead of doing that, Gundham sat down next to her.

"I appologise, miss Nevermind", he said, ashamed of himself, as he took his hand away from her warm shoulder.

"No, please", Sonia answered, with a soft voice. "Call me Sonia. And it would be nice if you kept your hand on my shoulder, for some more minutes. It's always nice to see a friend".

She smiled at him, and his face turned dark red, as he started blushing. "Excuse me, Sonia", Gundham said, as he lifted his scarf up to his dark red face. "I shall then, call you Sonia. And you can call me Gundham, or the Dark Over Lord". He placed his hand over Sonia's shoulder, and he suddently felt extremely weird, like something in his stomach was twisted around.

Sonia smiled and started to laugh. "You sure is something special, Gundham. I'll then call you Gundham, if that's ok with you. Tell me, have you actually tamed these animals?"

Gundham smiled, and said: "One can't tame animals all by themselves, Sonia. But in this case, I'm surely not the one, who can't. I, Gundham Tanaka, has tamed all sorts of animals. From the wildest and most dangeroud creatures in the frozen north, to small hamsters".

Sonia seemed to react to the last word. "Hamsters, you say? Oh, Gundham. Do you actually have hamsters?" Gundham blushed, flattered by Sonia's reaction.

"I shall summon my Four Dark Devas of Destruction, you say?" Gundham suddently shouted.

"Oh, please, I love hamsters", Sonia smiled.

Gundham took out four small hamsters, out of his scarf. "I keep them warm. They need to be warm to survive the coldest places, to the warmest places of evilness".

Sonia smiled again, even brighter, this time. Gundham was sure of that he could see a sparkle in her eyes, and he tried his best not to start blushing again. "You can hold one, if you dare".

Sonia smiled, as she held one of the hamsters. "They're so cute".

Gundham started blushing. "Cute, you say? The Four Dark Devas of Destruction, cute?"

"Indeed they are", Sonia laughed. "You are amazing, mister Tanaka". This made Gundham blush even more.

There was an awkward silence, as if the time was slower than it had ever been. Sonia ket go of the hamster, and it ran back to Gundham's warm scarf. Gundham looked at the ground. His arm was shaking. He couldn't control it.

"Why are you shaking, mister Tanaka? Are you cold?" Sonia said, and looked up at his pale face. His eyes glansed at the sea.

"I. I. I've never had accompany such as this. Especially not from a person with such royalty and graze", Gundham said. Sonia looked up at him.

"What do you mean? Haven't you been with friends when you were younger?" The breeze turned colder, and Sonia placed his arm even tighter around herself.

Gundham emidiately blushed, even more. "I. I. I see what you're asking, Sonia. But I shall bot tell my story, not even to a kind person like you, Sonia". Sonia smiled, and Gundham looked at her. "Why are you smiling, miss Nevermind?"

Sonia laughed happily. "It's such an honour to be here with you, Gundham".
