A summer to never forget

Chapter 3

"Does anyone know where my flowers are?" you ask.

Cam looks up, "I saw some on the counter but I put them in the trash."

Josephine starts to laugh; you glare at her.

"What are you laughing for?" you say aggressively.

"What are you getting mad for? They're just flowers." Anger started to build up in Josie.

"Why are you getting rude to my girl?" Cam shouts.

Anger flares inside you and you just let it go.

"THEY WERE MY FLOWERS AND SHE THREW THEM AWAY!"

"I DIDN'T FUCKING TROW YOUR FLOWERS AWAY!"

"Calm down! It was me! I didn't realise that they were yours! Matilda calm down and stop yelling at my girl!" Cam was starting to get really annoyed.

Ethan and Grayson come running into the room as you start to break down.

"You guys don't get it! Those flowers were from Ethan, and Cam was being careless and threw them away!" You shout, and run out crying.

Grayson runs after you and calls your name.

"Matilda?! Matilda! Please come here! Baby where are you?!"

You run outside and collapse into a ball.

"Leave me alone!" you shout whilst sobbing.

Grayson comes and sits next to you. He puts his arm around you and pulls you into him. You bury your head in his chest and throw your arms around him.

"Hey, it's okay. Don't worry." he says sympathetically.

You look up at him and he kisses your forehead. You start to cry again and cover your face with your hands.

"What happened?" Gray asked.

"Well, Cameron threw away my flowers but I thought it was Josie and now I think she hates me."

"She doesn't hate you. The situation just got a bit heated, that's all. It'll blow over soon. Matilda, she's your best friend and you're hers. Why would she ever hate you? Best friends do have arguments sometimes, and they're usually over stupid, little things."

Grayson lifts your head up gently, with one hand and smiles at you. You smile back.

"You know what will probably cheer you up?" Grayson asks smiling.

"What?"

He quickly picks you up, carrying you in his muscular arms.

"A quick dip."

Grayson starts running towards Cam's pool, laughing as you start to scream.

"No Grayson! No! NO! Grayson! Grayson don't!"

He leaps into the air, with you still in his arms. He holds on to you tightly as you both land in the ice cold pool.

"OH MY GOD! GRAYSON BAILEY DOLAN I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!"

He splashes water at you and starts to laugh. You don't want to admit it, but you do find it kind of fun. I mean, who doesn't love Grayson Dolan with a wet see-through shirt on?!

You splash him back and he jumps on you. He grabs your waits and pulls you up on him, so your legs are wrapped around his waist. You smile at him cheekily as he grabs your ass. He then starts kissing your neck, leaving marks where he has been.  You ruffle his hair.

Suddenly you hear a piercing scream. You look up and back to Gray. He climbs out of the pool and helps you out. You both run back into the house, still dripping wet.

"Get off of him! Stop! Stop it! Ethan no!" Josie was screaming.

You run into the living room. Ethan is fighting Cam, and Josie is standing in the corner crying.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Ethan punches Cam to the ground.

You freeze. You don't know what to do. Grayson runs in-between them but they keep on fighting. Cam punches Ethan back. Grayson manages to pull Cam off Ethan.

"Ethan don't!" Grayson yells as Ethan goes to punch Cam.

Cam wriggles and tries to get free from Grayson but he's too strong.

"You're such an asshole Cam! You made Matilda upset and got me mad!" Ethan shouts.

"What do you care? Anyway, you're not coming with us on road trip. Nor are you Grayson, and you can forget it Matilda. Come on Josie." Cam and Josie leave, leaving Ethan, Grayson and you behind.

"What the fuck?! It was our idea to go on road trip and they've just left us!" Grayson is fuming now. "Come on guys, let's go find them."
