The Return of Sunshine Barbie

AN (This will be long - may include Gossip Girl Spoilers): Okay so it took me quite a while to figure out what OUAT character to base on what GG character, and if you're confused; Regina is Blair, Emma is Serena, Robin is Chuck, Neal is Nate (I'll get into that) and Cora is obviously Eleanor, Ingrid is Emma's mother, simply because I wanted Mary Margaret and David to be their age, Killian will be introduced in the next chapter, and so will a lot of others. I have made Neal and Regina together because, if you've seen Gossip Girl, Blair and Nate are together, but Nate loves Serena, hence Neal loving Emma. I will make Killian based on Dan, simply because Dan and Serena were endgame, so Emma and Killian will be endgame too. This will feature mainly OQ/Regina but there will be a lot of involvement from other characters, ships and other peoples story lines. Trigger Warning for mention of an Eating Disorder because if you've seen GG, Blair suffers from one. I don't personally know what it's like, but I tried my best to write a little of why she has it and how she thinks etc. I don't plan on making this a hate Emma fic, it's just again, following Blair's attitude to Serena when she first comes back. Sorry that was so long, it's just this story may be a little confusing to start with.

Good evening Upper East Side. Guess who? That's right, your one and only source to Manhattan's elite. What's been going on you say? Well, our very own sunshine Barbie, Emma Swan, has resurfaced after her year away - spotted at Grand Central station this morning. I wonder how queen R will handle the news of her bestie being back after ditching her for months. We always thought that R's boyfriend, Neal Cassidy Gold, had a thing for E, so we all know this can only end badly. Even better, why don't we ask his best friend Robin, the hugest player on the Upper East side? He usually has a thing or two to say about females in distress.

We may know nothing yet, but soon secrets will be out, rumors will be circulated, affairs will be revealed and friendships will most definitely be broken. I'll be the first to know when it all kicks off, and you'll be the second.

Regina Mills threw her phone at the wall and internally screamed. Of course Emma was back! The backstabbing bitch that disappeared a year ago and went off to boarding school without a word was back to screw everything up. After all this time, after Regina's parents got a divorce and she was stuck with her overbearing mother. After Neal and her began drifting apart and Regina didn't know what to do to stop it. After all of the bullshit that a best friend was meant to help you through, Emma comes swanning in when things are going great.

And what makes it worse, is that Neal has a thing for her, and everybody knows it.

Suddenly there were footsteps. "Regina? Regina?" Regina heard her name being called and quickly composed herself. She could not look the least bit affected by any of this news. When the door flew open, her mother stormed in, and she looked flustered, and moody and like she was sick of faking interest with all of the people at her launch party.

"Oh for goodness sake Regina! Will you get out there? People at the party are wondering where you are!" Cora snapped, marching over to her and dragging her by the wrist out of the room. "Now, stand straight please and remember your manners and smile for goodness sake!" She hissed on the way to the penthouse foyer.

Regina internally groaned. Her mother was always nitpicking at everything. Making sure Regina was 'poise' and not 'fiddling with that damned hemline' or 'slouching Regina!' It wasn't like Regina even needed to be at the stupid party. Of course it was important to her that her mother was successful and happy, but she had launches every time she brought out a new fashion line, let alone all of the other launches Regina had to attend out of invitation.
