I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock beeping. I open my eyes as they quickly come into focus. Sharp vampire senses. I'm used to them by now.

"BELLE!" it was my auntie Cassie. "BELLE, I HAVE TO GO TO WORK EARLY SO HELP YOURSELF TO PANCAKES BEFORE YOU GO TO SCHOOL."

"OKAY." I say as I slowly get out of bed.

"Oh and Belle..."

"Yes..."

"Don't skip breakfast."

"I won't." I roll my eyes as I start to get changed quickly.

I rush down the stairs quickly going to the fridge and grabbing the pancakes. I swear Cassie thinks I want to starve myself, I mean, does she not see me eat?! I quickly glance over at the clock, ten minutes early, that's a first. I hear a scream coming from outside. I quickly look to see what was going on outside. It was a girl on the floor. She looked hurt. Do I go out and help her? God, I'm no good with children. She looked about six. She had long blonde hair that flowed down to her waist, even if it was in two plaits, big round glasses, she was wearing a pinafore and she carried an oversized rucksack. She still hasn't gotten up. I glance over at the clock, 7 more minutes. I run over to her.

"Are you okay? What ha..." I was in mid-sentence when something on her knee caught my eye. Blood. All my vampire senses came rushing to me. I looked up to her, she was saying something but I couldn't hear as this sudden urge for blood took over. My eyes slowly make my way down to her neck. I can see the vein throbbing. I can smell the blood. It's so red. I move my mouth close to the wound, I slide my tongue out of my mouth, ready to lick the trickle of blood that I desperately want to taste but I manage to restrain myself. No, I can't bite her. I can feel my inner vampire yearn for blood. I. Want. To. Bite. Her. I can feel a smile creep up on my face. I look up again to meet her eyes but her eyes weren't looking at mine, they were looking at my mouth. She stumbles away, her eyes wide with fear. Shit, my fangs! They're showing.

"Sorry." I quickly say before running back into the house. What got over me. I should have never gone out. Stupid, I curse as I make my way out through the back door incase she was still there. I walk to school thinking about what would of happened I bit her.
