Hey Everyone. I don't really know how to write stories or anything, and my chapters probably won't be that long, so you have been warned lol XD.

I'm sorry if i don't finish this story, or if it takes ages to upload another chapter, because lately, so much shit has happened and it's hard for me to get the time and have my mind in the zone to be able to write.

I honestly don't think, this story will be any good so don't be afraid to comment about how the story can be improved and stuff.

This story is about a girl who runs away from an abusive house hold and tries to make it on her own. However, she eventually meets a spirit who gets attatched to her and looks after her, even if it's not in the most best way possible.

Some elements in this, mean alot to me and are based on my experiances or emotions, so please no hate.

Now enough of my rambling, lets get on with this story.

Part 1

I stared out of the window next to me, my gaze travelling over the barely visible patterns.

I can't believe I actually did it. I actually left. This has to be a dream, some fantastic, wonderful fantasy. I pinched my arm forcefully and winced, trying to wake myself up.

After all those miserable and vicious years, i am finally free. Free from broken bones and bruised skin.

The words I Am Free kept invading my mind and every time, I would end up smiling.

I felt the bus come to an abrupt stop. The doors opened to let in more passengers with suit cases and bags.

When I ran out of there, I waited until the house was empty before gathering my things and taking some money from his stash of beer and gambling money. I've forgotten how many times he's come home drunk and wasted all of the money we had.

I took a deep breath and felt my blue eyes close slowly, the song Skinny Love playing on my ipod, headphones still in.

His hands clasped tightly around my neck and my oxygen was becoming limited. I stuggled and kicked and scratched at him, but he wouldn't let go. My body started going limp and my arms dropped to my sides, relaxing into the pain of not being able to breathe. My eyes started to close, when my fingers started tracing a smooth, heavy object. I grabbed it and lifted my arm tiredly, and smashed it against his balding head. His grip released on my oxygen, and i fell to my knees, trying to regain my breath. His voice screamed through my ears as I felt my hair being pulled on. I screamed out and shoved him away from me. I tried to get away, but he always found a way to get back to me. Those menacing dark blue eyes and his thinning brown hair. The scene before me began to disintegrate and I was left in darkness. A soft, coaxing voice invaded my head.

"Rae, remember to breathe. Don't look into the past or else you won't be able to see the present or be prepared for the future."  The voice sounded similar to a boys. His voice was like music. So charming and wwhimsical.

"Who are you?!" I demanded. "What do you want?!?"

He didn't answer any of my questions, all that was left was silence...

I awoke started and breathing heavily. Sweat beaded at my brow and my face and hands felt sticky. My heart was racing and I couldn't stop thinking about that suckle sweet voice that found its way into my mind. It scared me. Sighing, I eventually relaxed into my bus seat and looked outside my window. The sky was black and small silver lights scattered across it, shining down.

My heart skipped a beat however, when I felt the bus swivel and turn rapidly on the road. The left wheel began to buckle and become lose. I gasped and held on tight to my back pack. The remainder of the lonely passengers began to panic and shouts were echoing through the bus. A hard pressure, struck me against my window and I kept my head down, my eyes shut and secure as I felt the bus tip and spin over and over again. My heart hit against my chest as hard as it could, trying to rip my flesh and skin out of its way. Then suddenly, the screaming stopped. The bus stopped spinning. Everything was still.

My eyes slowly pried themselves open and with a shaky hand, I unhooked my seat belt, and stood up, my legs like jelly.

My hands covered my mouth and tears streamed down my face as I saw the sight of the wreck. Passengers faces were drowned in blood. Mothers, Fathers and Children. Bags and suitcases were thrown around the floor of the bus and my eyes drifted upon a child, looking to be the age of six or seven, a shard of glass sliced straight through her skull, a small teddy bear limp and dead in her cut up arms.

I held onto my bag and i dragged one foot after the other, across the broken bus floor and out of the smashed in doors. My feet instantly met the hard rock and sand of the desert. Then I did what any normal person would do. I fainted.
