Heyyyyy! Back again, this is a Lafayette/Angelica fanfic requested by TheBigThree3 written in Angelica's point of view, modern times

I glanced at him, is curly hair pulled back into a ponytail, his tall silhouette in the hazy moonlight. He looks at me, and intertwines our fingers, sending a wave of electricity over me. I look around Central Park as we stroll, breathing in the fresh air. We've been on a few dates already, so I'm super comfortable around him. It's great to date your best friend.

"Let's lay down on that rock." He says, pointing to a tall but climbable rock a few steps away.

"Sure!" I reply, picking up the pace of my walking.

I easily climb up the rock, and find  a good spot to lay down, before realizing that Laf wasn't there. I head back to the edge from where I came, and see Lafayette struggling to climb onto the rock. I laugh and pull him up. We go towards the middle of the rock, and I realize it's lined with candles.

"Surprise!" He says, "Wait! There's more."

He pulls out a blanket and a picnic basket, and smiles at me.

"Happy Anniversary mon amour!"

I am so shocked that he did this for me, I can't even speak. The rest of the night goes by in a blur, ending with us laying on our backs against the cool rock. We look at the stars, and suddenly, Laf pulls me up onto my feet. I look at him, confused.

He gets down on one knee.
My heart races.
He pulls out a small velvet box.
Oh my god.
He takes my hand and looks into my eyes.

"Angelica, you are the strongest, kindest, funniest, and smartest girl I know. I've loved you from the first time I met you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.Will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?"

Tears sprang to me eyes, and I jumped into his arms.

"Yesyesyesyesyesyesyesy!"

He wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me. I can't believe that just happened. Most of all, I can't wait to tell my sisters!
