Are We Truly Forbidden?

Oh, Hello There.

Sapphire POV

Tonight. It's decided, I am going to enter the forest tonight. All day I have been debating if I really wanted to do it and I came to the conclusion, why not? I called into work and told them that I wont be coming in tonight and they let me off easy since this is the first time I have ever taken a day off before.

I walk into my bathroom and take a quick shower before brushing my teeth. Then I comb my hair into a ponytail and walk out the door locking it behind me.

Walking to the edge I stare at the tree line for some time before I slowly and cautiously step over into the area. Looking around I see that no one is nearby so I quickly run deep into the forest which isn't hard considering I am a vampire. Stopping I see a deer near me and think about eating it, but then I hear howls in the distance and know that my scent has been caught.

I'm about to take off running when the biggest wolf I have ever seen stops in front of me. It snarls and the black fur on its body ripples with anger. Suddenly though it start to sniff the air, then it brings its gaze to me and stares at me for long moments of time.

The intense stare it has on me shocks me but I don't feel the need to run anymore. Then the wolf starts to transform back into its human self. As it's form starts to take place my vampire instinct roars o life inside of me, telling me to take what's mine and complete the blood bond. The blood bond is how two vampires mate, by sharing one another's, blood during the act of love-making.

"Female, why are you on my lands?" comes the husky voice, gaining my attention. I look up and meet the eyes of none other than the Alpha King Lucas, gasping I start to back away. Growling he says," Stop right there you are not leaving little mate." Wait,... MATE! Oh god please save me.

"Well f**k me..," I say and he smirks slightly and says," I am still debating if I really want to do that or if I should kill you." his tone is harsh and he settles an unblinking stare upon me. Inside I start to cry, knowing that the one opportunity I might have had for love is gone because of what I am and what he is. Inhaling deeply I say," I won't let you have the chance to make up your mind."

Then I sprint away before he can catch me.
