The door swung open and the professor walked into the class. "Hello, welcome to criminology. My name is Doctor Fitzgerald. Throughout the course of the year we will be studying various crime scenes. Your first assignment will be studying the scene of a homocide." He paraded up and down the aisles handing out the sylibus
Niall dropped his pencil and I tolled towards me. I picked it up and handed it to him with a smile. He blushed and grinned. "Thanks," he said.
The professor began to talk again, "I'll be assigning you all partners for the first project. This will be one hundred points." He rambled on about the criteria and expectations of the assignment. Then he described the procedure. Finally he chose the partners. "I prepared this list earlier on," he said. He began reading off the names of the partners. "Joseph Fryer and Lizzy Cochraine. Olivia Lepenske and Aidan Smoth. Margot Murphy and Jordyn White. Brendan Chase and Charlie Daly. Emily Arson and Niall Horan. Max Salem and Shannon Conway."
I tried to contain my excitement about my partner. I was so excited to get to know Niall better.
Dr. Fitzgerald handed us a notecard with a number on it. "The number on your card represents the crime you will be solving.
