Forgotten

The school dance

I wake up and start to get ready for school. I tied my hair up in a messy bun and put on my contact lenses, dressed into my school uniform and brushed my teeth. I ate some toast and went on my computer. I saw that I had an email. I opened it and it was from Dan. "Hey Enya, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the school dance with me tonight.. Unless you already have a date." Is what I read.

My heart humped in joy when I read that. I replied telling I would tell him at school. The bus eventually came and I sat down in the back seat. About 10 minutes later I was at school. I walked to my locker and in the corner of my eye I saw Dan and Phil walking towards me. "Hey Enya-ya!" Phil said waving cutely to me.

"Hey Philly" I replied still putting books in my locker. I closed my locker and blushed when I looked at Dan. "Hey Dan." I said smiling.

"Hi, Enya." Dan said smiling nervously. I could tell he wanted Phil to leave us so I could reply in private. I think Phil got a hint because me and Dan were both awkwardly staring at Phil and he said; "well I guess I'll see you guys later." And he walked away.

Dan and i stared at each other awkwardly for what seemed like years. "So.." I said finally breaking off the Silence. Dan looked up at me and smiled. Ugh he was so cute.

"So, about the email earlier.. What's your answer?" Dan asked. "Of course I will go to the dance with you Danny!" I said. He smiled and I blushed.

When I got home I changed into a medium length Aqua dress that twirled when I turned. I brushed my long black hair then braided it. After I finished my hair I put on some white flats.

About an hour after my doorbell rang. I opened the door to see Dan standing there with a white buttoned up shirt and some black trousers. "Wow, you look stunning." Dan said checking my dress out.

"Oh, thanks. You look very handsome." I smiled back at Dan.
