As I touch ground at the airport, I see a sign that has "BRAYDEN" printed on the front. I walk over to the people and introduce myself.

"'Ello, I'm Brayden. I'm your new kid." I wink at the small boy standing shyly behind his mother, Sue.

"Oh Percy, stop being so shy!" His mother scolds him.

"It's fine, Miss Jackson." I say politely.

"Oh no, dear! Call me Sue. And Percy is just shy when he meets new people." She explains.

"Okay, Sue. When are we going to leave?" I ask.

"Right about now." She says.

As we get into the car, I introduce myself to Percy. "'Ello, I'm Brayden. And you are?" I ask

He giggles. "You already know!" He laughs.

"No, I don't!" I tell him jokingly.

"I'm Percy!" He says quickly. "I like to swim and I like hamburgers!" He says even more quickly.

"Tell me that last part again." I tell him.

He tells me it in slo-mo. "IIIIIII lllliiiikkkee hhhaaaammmbbuurrggeerrss."

I laugh. I think to myself, I like this kid. And then I fall asleep.
