SUMMER, the few months in which men and women alike get to put their feet in the air and relax. The months filled with melted popsicles, warm sidewalks, and reckless behavior. Although for girls like Athena, summer is filled with lazy days blending into sleepless nights, planning extravagant vacations but ultimately cancelling last minute, and binge watching various tv shows.
However, after a storm that leaves Athena with nothing, she's forced to join the dark side. Meaning a whirlwind of paralytic claws, glowing eyes, and sharp fangs. With everything at stake and nothing to loose, Athena walks head first into battle with skilled hunters and teenagers by her side.
