"Your majesty wake up!" Ellen , a servant , said shaking me awake. She worked here since I was young and raised me when mother died . I shot up and sighed. I had a terrible nightmare .
"Finally, I've been trying to wake you up for a while now your majesty. You were crying in your sleep" the older woman said to me as she opened my curtains. I didn't even realize I was crying . It must of been from the dream.
"I'm sorry for troubling you." I mumbled laying back down sighing wiping my tears away.
"Oh don't worry young prince but don't you dare go to sleep. You have a big day today."
"Let me guess, another date with some princess that just wants money and nothing to have to do with me ?"
"Oh don't be like that but yes it is another date . Her name is Princess Lavender , she's a vegetarian and has a love to nature. Your father said you will love her"
"He says that about every girl he makes me see and they never end up being the one . Why do I even bother ? "
"Because you are now 18 and don't have a soulmate yet. How are you going to run this country being lonely and not having someone by your side to help you with your decisions?"
"Father did it when mother died . He didn't have anyone so why do I? I don't want to rush to find the one ."
"Your father is a different story and he had you . At this point you have to rush to find the one cause you will be king very soon. Don't you want children with your blonde hair and green eyes running around the castle?"
"Ellen stop" I groaned blushing putting a pillow on my face.
"I'm only teasing " she laughed "now chop chop and get ready, breakfast will be ready soon."
I groaned and got out of bed . I changed out of my pjs and into my outfit for my 'date'. As I got ready I couldn't help to think of my dream over and over again. After I finished I grabbed my iPhone and left my room heading down the long hallway and down the spiraling staircase and into the kitchen .
"Good morning Prince Adrein" everyone in the kitchen said bowing .
"Morning " I said walking through.
"We're cooking your favorite today young prince " Edgar , the head chef said to me .
"Oh awesome, thanks Edgar " I said taking an apple and heading out into the dining room. I saw that father wasn't there , as usual. Sometimes I wished I wasn't so lonely and had some one . I sighed and sat at the end of the long dining room table . I saw their was a tray waiting for me with tea. I slightly smiled and made my self a cup occasionally eating a few sugar cubes. A scrolled through my phone until a servant came in and presented my food . I thanked them before they left and I began eating. That's when someone came through the door way .
"Yo Adrien my man!" Max yelled sitting next to me.
"Hey Max" I said taking a sip of my tea looking at him.

"What's going on?" He asked. He wore black pants , a blue button up shirt, black shoes , a grey beanie , and had brown hair with blue eyes.
"Same as always " I sighed
"Let me guess you have another date ?"
I nodded .
"Who is it this time ?"
"Some Princess named Lavender "
"Oh she's very pretty but has some weird obsession with house plants"
"Nice" I said not really caring.
Max looked at me confused.
"What's the matter ?"
"I'm just am sick of all these dates with girls that I know aren't the one. They are only going on these dates to try to be with me for money . They probably already have soulmates of their own . I know I need to find the one before my coronation but I don't want to rush anything. I just want to live life normal and not to be told what to do or have the weight of this country on my shoulders. I just want to do my own thing ."
"You sound like a Rebel! Doing your own thing and live your own life . You are crazy ! I understand you don't want everyone looking to you when you become king but it's going to happen. You are King Agrestes son , Prince Adrien Agreste! You are destined to end the war and then things will be normal then when you are running our side of the country. You also need to rush finding the one because your coronation is next week. "
I sighed . He will never understand.
"Ya your right , I guess I'm still half asleep and I'm talking nonsense."
"I hope so but we still need to do something about your soulmate thing . I will bring every single girl we ever went to school with here for you to see if you can find the one "
"No no no don't do that please."
"Well what else is there to do ? It's not like your having dreams about her."
I froze up a little . "I- I actually am "
"Why didn't you tell anyone! Then you wouldn't have to go on any dates anymore "
"I know but they aren't like dreams of her . They are more like nightmares about her." Max stared at me for a while.
"Nightmares? That's not good at all ."
"Ya I know " I sighed .
"What where they about?"
"Well we were in a castle , idk if it was here or not but we were at war with someone. She was standing in front of me and then ....... Shot me ."
"She shot you?! The only person you will ever truly love shot you?! "
I nodded . "Idk why she just did . I don't know what she looked like or if I died or not either ."
"Wow this is terrible . But wait , why did she have a gun? The only people with guns are Rebels and we are at war with the Rebels . Oh my god is your soulmate a Rebel?!"
"Shh no she's not a Rebel! That's never happened and never will! "
"Well who else would have a gun?"
"Idk but she's not a Rebel. It just can not happen."
"Whatever you say man " max said and looked at his phone as it went off . "I have to go , Lily will freak if I don't get her a bagel from the new bakery . I'll see you later ."
"Ya you too and please don't tell anyone about what I told you " I said .
"I won't !" He called leaving.
I sighed and and sat in silence. Is my soulmate really a Rebel?
