The Glowing Island

Staring at the strange white blob in the distance, you obviously wondered what it was. Maybe you could swim to it, but you weren't sure that was a good idea. But still...
The forest behind you was beautiful, with unusually green grass and interesting new plants and a nice nature-y smell.
But something about the white shape in the distance called to you. It felt better than this island.
To be fair, you were a kid in sweatpants who didn't really know how to defend themselves or hunt anything and didn't see any fruits when running through the forest...

Yeah, mysterious distant shape is better.

So you waded into the water and prayed to Strange White Blob you wouldn't drown.

You swam as fast as you could toward the white shape. You were tired already from running, and it took all you had to swim at a decent pace while keeping your head above water. It felt like an eternity before you got to the white thing, but then again maybe it was only a few minutes. You were proud of yourself for swimming all the way there, for good reason. You climbed up onto the white thing, which was actually a white platform that felt like a tile floor. You sat on the edge to catch your breath for a minute before looking at the extremely small cave-like shape made out of the same material as the white platform. To get inside it you would have to crawl, but there appeared to be a large trapdoor inside it, which meant maybe, there was once a person there. You didn't miss your family much, but you also didn't want to be alone forever, so you reached into the hole and pulled up the trapdoor, then stuck your head in and looked down. There was a ladder like a treehouse ladder down, but you couldn't see all the way down. The ladder seemed like it was in good condition, so you started climbing down it, pulling the trapdoor closed behind you.
To your surprise, even though you weren't able to see the floor before, the ladder was actually quite short and it was only a matter of seconds before your feet touched the floor and heard the crunch of leaves.

Or... plastic.

Looking around, you were in what was definitely a hole in the ground full of stone and dirt. But to your left was walls in a Minecraft helmet shape with two walls filled with tons of monitors and screens, as well as two small doors on the third wall, one door having a men's bathroom symbol on it. The ground everywhere was covered in junk food wrappers and soda cups, accounting for the plasticy crunch you heard. It would be hard to walk around here in your bare feet. You walked very carefully towards the monitors, trying to find holes between the wrappers. It was a slow trek to the other end of the room, but one minute and three feet later you made it to the wall of monitors with the perfect ninety degree angle. You saw a space in the exact center with no garbage in it so you quickly jumped to that empty space and looked up at the monitors. They were all showing different things, but you couldn't make out what, with all the monitors so close together and bright, although a few screens were black. You wondered where the weirdo who put all this garbage here was.

Suddenly, you heard a door open behind you, and you whipped around suddenly. Out of one of two doors behind you, a very short... thing walked out. It looked like it had gone for a swim every day... in an ocean of Cheetos. The thing had a dark green helmet, a weird symbol on its stomach, glasses, and a white... tail? It was also eating a chocolate bar. It reminded you a bit of a frog.

After closing the door behind itself, the thing looked up and made an unholy screeching noise. "HOW DID YOU FIND MY SECRET ISLAND? AND MY SECRET ISLAND POOPER?!"

You stared blankly at the orange creature.

"Secret... island... pooper?"
