"And as she grew older, the world grew colder.
As a young child, she had yet to be tainted by it's dark.
She went from 10yrs old, wanting to help everyone and everything
...to 15yrs old, not much caring for others or their feelings.
The filter she so strategically used, was now gone.
What she had gone through as a child wasn't done with her.
She may have been able to hide it and ignore it, but then, she couldn't.
It seemed to her that it happened all at once.
There was no easing into it.
Her "good girl", "amazing grade" attitude had covered for her long enough.
Being the reckless, naive teen she was, the limits were barely pushed beyond themselves.
Pushed over the edge of not ok, but not over the edge of noticeable.
Now, she said small comments.
Those comments would get in others heads.
The girl could use that to her advantage.
Attach them to her string just long enough to make use of them then, bam.
Gone.
She'd be gone.
Well, she was not actually gone, but the front you knew was.
When she was in public, her face seemed void of all emotion.
That is, until you looked into her eyes.
The smile she'd put on was a beautiful one.
It'd draw them in like flies.
When they looked in those eyes there was more.
Something, far more sinister resided in this girl.
Her bright smile reassured them she was perfectly fine.
It scared people for her to be like this.
She looked forward to that fear.
Power would swell inside of her like anger in a young child.
The best part about this all...
Is that you've been drawn in now.
You know nothing more about her than this.
Wait for it,
And if you happened to meet her...
You'd never know.
Because she'd never let you.
Not until she was done with you."
