"Longest plane ride ever." said Heather with a strong hint sarcastic in her voice.
"Seriously Heather, just stop talking and look for mom." replied Joseph.
Heather rolled her eyes and searched. After about 20 minutes and 15 arguments she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She pulled it out and read the text.
"Of course. That bitch!" Heather said out loud. That gained her plenty of stares.
"What happened now?" asked Joseph.
"Mom has a car waiting outside for us. She said that she has special business to take care of and she would see tomorrow." Heather responded.
"Sis leave it. At least she invited us to come back home. Please all you have is one more year left and you can go to Paris, Rome, and Italy. Just leave it." Joseph snapped at her.
"Fine. But I will never be the same. Every time I see her I become insecure and nerdy and ugly. She's a class A bitch."
"She's our mom. Get in the car and lets go home."
As they drove up to the house Heather couldn't help but laugh. It looked as cold and evil as ever.
When they walked in the house they were greeted by 30 warm hearts, 30 smiling faces, 30 open arms. But even with all that love she still remember those countless moments and memories. And everyone hurt more then the memory before it.
She walked up the stairs, down the hall, to the last door on the left. Before she went in she turned around walked across the hall and laid a single kiss
on the door. She smiled and turned back running into her room and slamming the door behind her.
With that the transformation began. From hero to 0, 8 days was all it took for Heather to change back to her old self. But that's not a good thing. The glasses, the ponytails, the hiding it all came back. With this change brought the worst memories of all. The ones that she is forever scared with. One week to the day, it was the first day of school. The first time Heather had left the house. She walked out without a word and got into the car. The whole way there was silence, and awkward silence. But a true silence.
