As the teardrops glided down her pale face, she felt alone. As always. She had always felt different from people around her, when she was at school she felt isolated from the world but when she didn't have school she felt alone, strange like something deep inside was engulfing her right down into her soul. The shouting downstairs had once again started, but it gradually got louder, it made her quiver the screams down below her feet rose into her body stabbing her heart. Unexpectedly, sounds of smashing plates and glasses began then silence, Hailey's heart began to skip a beat; a thud of the door and footsteps came coming up for her. Sobs surrounded Hailey, she didn't know what think; her mother sat beside her, head in her lap. Her mum sat beside her crying, her abusive father had finally left their family for good. Hailey felt different from then on, her mum no longer came home with bruises around her face and Hailey felt less self conscious now her father never returned home. Yet still everyday was the same, she continued to feel depressed and unable to seek support.
That was when she became really alone, her mum didn't bother with her, she sat alone in silence with her lights out in her bedroom. When she was at school her grades dropped and she no longer cared, life was just too depressing for her. She continued to feel down, like it was a roller coaster never stopping just more people added to it soon making break down.
