Chapter Three

The minute I woke up I already knew where I was, the room was all so fimilar, the smell everything seemed normal which was sad actually, I shouldn't know hospital rooms that well. I could hear the beeping from the machine that was connected from my arm, I wasn't even bothered by the needle that was in me. When I shifted in the bed I was shocked when someone head shot up, "Luke?" my voice was barley there but he heard me. "Adrielle oh thank god" He hugged me before I could fully open my eyes. "I thought you were gone Adri-" He was cut off by the nurses coming into the room and asking him to leave so they can check me, the hurt he had in his eyes was heartbreaking he looked like a little kid that just got his new toy taken away from him not that I was a toy but. After about ten minutes of the doctor asking me questions stupid questions checking something off on his clipboard he let whoever was waiting outside for me come in. The first person I saw was Jessie "Dad got called into work about an hour ago I just called him and he's trying to get back" He said before hugging me, I just nodded knowing that I couldn't talk clear enough. James, Daniel and Beau stood behind Jessie along with Riley who was somewhat hidden behind skip, "We're glad you feel better" James smiled awkwardly, I cleared my throat "Who found me?" They knew exactly what I was talking about, "Delena" Beau mumbled "And she is?" I managed to talk a little higher this time. "She's outside with Jai and Luke" Daniel responded, "We can get them if you want?" Jessie offered, "Visiting hours are almost over" The nurse popped her head in and I looked at the clock on the wall it was 9:15 and I had no idea what day it even was. "Was I out for that long?" "Two days it's Sunday night babe" Riley spoke up and I nodded, It didn't even bother me that I missed two days of my life, "We'll let you rest I'll come back tomorrow morning okay?" Jessie asked and I nodded again. "I'll send in the others real quick is that alright?" Beau asked "Yeah that's fine" I mumbled before they left the room. I was alone for about a minute or two before Delena and Jai came in, Delena seemed like she was crying for days which knowing her she probably was and I felt horrible about that "I'm sorry" We both said at the same time and she was shocked "Sorry for what?" She asked whipping her eyes. "For doing this to you" "Adrielle are you serious this isn't your fualt if anything it's ours we managed to ignore you for no apparent reason and I'm your best girl friend I should have been there for you, I should have been there when those girls decided they were going to jump you I should have-" "Delena stop nobody knew that was going to happen don't guilt yourself into thinking it's your fault because it's not alright?" She just stood there a little taken aback that I wasn't mad at her or any of them now that I think of it. I understood why they did it, they all knew Luke first and obviously they were going to take his side, I didn't mind that and I don't know why, some part of be should be pissed off that they all neglected me for no apparent reason but I wasn't I guess I just didn't care anymore. "Alright" She whispered, "Now Thank you for finding me" I smiled and so did she "I was worried when you didn't answer the door so Jai helped me break in" She looked back at him "Well Jai thank you for breaking into my house" I laughed and they both stood quite, because I was making a joke out of all of this. "No problem babe but we should go there's only ten minutes left for visits and Luke wants to come in" He explained before hugging me "We'll come visit after school well I will" Delena smiled before she hugged me too. "I'll be right here" I adjusted my blanket while they walked out then laid back down.

I heard a knock then looked up to Luke in the doorway "You don't have to knock" I responded as he walked over to me, "Yes I do, you might not want me in here" "Why wouldn't I want you in here?" I raised an eyebrow. "Because I'm the reason you're in here" "Oh for gods sake will everyone stop blaming themselves for this it's my fault not yours Luke" "It is my fault" He looked down and I wanted to punch him not because I was mad but because he was kind of annoying me. "Look I'm pretty sure they didn't tell you why I'm in here but I'm also pretty sure Jai told you about me getting into a fight and it's not because of that well it is but it's mainly because I haven't been eating, I don't really eat at school or at home I might drink something here and there but I don't really eat so after I got into that after and started bleeding and stuff since I fell asleep I ended up passing out and that's why I'm here it has nothing to do with you Luke it's me and that's it" He looked into my eyes and didn't say anything until I looked away. "I-I didn't" "You didn't know yeah I know I don't make it obvious the only way you would notice is if you were with me all day everyday which no one is so yeah no one really knew I mean Jessie had his concerns but he didn't think anything of it because I didn't give him a full reason to" I explained, "I still shouldn't have ignored you and if I was you I would be pissed off at me I don't know how you aren't but I'm sorry for that" "It's alright Luke" I knew exactly why I wasn't mad, I'd fallen for the kid.
