Power Of The Four Stars

As the sun rose from the landscape the forest grew rich with the scent of prey the night clan camp filled with joy as four kits stumbled out of the nursery. “come on I want to talk to the leader "squealed a light gray  fluffy kit as she rain up to the ledge that leads to the leaders den. As the other three got up with her a dark gray kit panted hard as he caught his breath “why ...do we..have to follow ...you " he panted as he collapsed to the floor. She turned her head to look at him over her shoulder “ because stormkit mom said that we have to stay together "she reminded him. 
“Lightningkit go on with out us were to tired " meowed a flame colored kit how was stopped panting so she can get up lightningkit looked at her than nodded “ok I will flamekit you can stay here if you want" she meowed load enough for her litter mates to here. A pure white kite pricked his ears stopped panting and got to his feet “no I'm coming with you " he meowed . lightingkit looked at him “are you sure you can make it snowkit "she fretted . snowkit rolled his eyes “hay I can make it ... Man your acting like mom " he meowed when he went past her “i am not mom" she muttered and bounded up after him. At the top snowkit pulled lightningkit up “thanks " she panted after giving her fur a few quick licks the den loomed with darkness as lightning kit lifted her head to see in the gloom “DAWNSTAR"she shouted a sleek and wise voice answered her “come in " Snowkit and lightningkit looked at each other confused then stacked in. Lightning kits eyes turned to slits as her eyes jousted to the gloom of the den she could see Dawn star sitting with his tail rapped around his paws “have a seat "he meowed in a wise voice and pointed with his ear to tow nests Lind with feathers and moss as they sat down  the nest was so soft she could have fallen asleep.  This must be were the deputy and the medicine cat sit when they have to make decisions she thought as she imagined the leader,deputy,and medicine cat having talks here to make decisions “so what do you want to say to me " the leaders wise and gentle voice broke her out of her thoughts the leader stared at her as she tried to remember. After a few moments later she remembered but snowkit can't be here when I tell him she thought .the leader looked at snowkit like he read her thoughts “wait outside my den snowkit will I talk to lightningkit
I fell like its best to have this conversation alone you can come back when I say were done If  you also wanted to talk to me " Dawnstar meowed in his wise gentle voice. Snowkit hesitated for a moment then briefly dipped his head and did what Dawnstar said and stocked out of the den for away from the conversation “so what do you want to say "  meowed Dawn star his voice soothed lightning kit as she took a deep breath and let it all out “ the reason why i wanted to talk to you is because I keep having these strange dreams about three warriors named Deadleaf, Pineshadow,and a leader named ,Nightstar. I don't know how they are or why I keep having dreams about them and I thought you now how they are so that's why I came to you" meowed  lightningkit as she tried to catch her breath that came out faster then I etended she thought. Dawnstar had his head raised and his eyes closed as he meowed in his deep wise and gentle voice that soothing “the leader you speak of was the first clan leader when they first learned about starclan his wife Pineshadow and his son Deadleaf " he meowed then he opened his eyes “is that all you want to know little one"he asked. She stared at him than nodded “then we are done " Dawnstar meowed load enough for snowkit to hear. As she waited snowkit pocked his head in  then walked in casually and sat down next to his sister. Dawn star looked at him “so why did you come here "snowkit shrugged “ i just wanted to know how how my mentor will be " he asked. Lightning kit stared at him and rolled her eyes. The leader looked at him and meowed sternly “i can't tell you this until Its your naming ceremony "snowkit dipped his head in apology and walked out lightningkit did the same and walked out. As they did the others were stared at them and stalked to the nursery as lightningkit followed her litter mates a kit landed on top of her scrambling up she shuck her fur and glared at a kit with mahogany fur and hazel eyes  “i got you this time lightningkit you didn't even scent me ... Wait why didn't you scent me you always do is something bothering you" the kit meowed concern edge in her voice. As lightningkit licked her fur clean she meowed as com  and naturally as possible “im fine hazel kit I was just distracted "hazel kit stared at her. “well you can tell me what's distracting you" she meowed kindly lightningkit hesitated. “no not right now I'm tired maybe when I wake up"she meowed hazelkit nodded “ok I'll wait "she meowed lightningkit nodded her thanks then stalked in the nursery to see her littermates sleeping sleepily  she curled up next to her brother and drifted into sleep.
