The new Friend

"Hi" she texted him that night,
"Hello" he replied, "being formal eh??" she asked, "nah, just don't know how to reply" he replied.

She - "Today was fun"
He - "yup, I too enjoyed an outing after a long time"
She - "why? Don't you go outings with your friends?"
He - "they keep pestering me once a week but I am not much of a crowd loving person"

Soon she came to know that he is a lonely guy who has his own choice for people and was surprised to know that she was one of his few friends whom he was frank with as he never interacts much with others.

Hours turned into minutes whenever they were together. They used to talk for hours but that never satisfied them, the longer they talk the more they craved for each other's company.

Soon it became a habit as none of their days were complete without being with the other. Talks turned in texts and calls and the nights were passed chatting.
Soon everyone in their group got accustomed with each other.
Outings were planned, tickets started getting purchased in groups or pairs, People were surprised to see them together as were they themselves as they couldn't believe how important they became for each other. Seats changed, lifestyle changed and their friendship just blossomed with that.

One day Ishika messaged everyone to meet after college, everyone reached except Aryan, "hey, where's Aryan?" asked Sanjana, "chill girl, there are others too beside him you know" replied Nikita with a sigh, "she is a goner" said Arti winking at the group and everyone started laughing, "it's not what you are thinking" Sanjana exclaimed, "yea yea we know it all" replied Tanya teasing her.
"Listen guys, FNF is coming in theaters next week on Friday, let's plan a full day outing that day" Ishita suggested everyone, "why? Anything specific about this movie?" asked Sanjana,
"It's Aryan fav movie series and we just loves this series so there's no way we will be missing the first day show so why not enjoy it together" Tanya implied.
"Yea that would be great" said Avinash, so they all decided to do the advance booking of the movie and made plans to have an outing later that day.
The D day came and they all were excited to give the surprise to Aryan,
But it was a tough job to make Aryan bunk the college that day so they decided to let Ishika and Sanjana convince him. "Hey" they greeted him at the entrance and asked him to follow them to their hideout where everyone else were waiting. "Let's bunk college today" suggested Sanjana, "why?, Is there anything special?" He asked, "yup there is and you will know it soon" she replied to him and they went towards the multiplex. "OMG" exclaimed Aryan on seeing the poster, "it's FNF" he whispered to himself looking at the group "guys, that's so great" he exclaimed happily and they group hugged. Later they entered the multiplex and bought the snacks to watch the movie.

"What's so special about this movie?" Sanjana asked Aryan, "it was the first movie which made me go crazy for the cars, the speed, the thrill, the action, I fell in love with all and I fell in love with the characters, soon one of the main characters couldn't continue any longer as he met with an accident and passed away, this movie is a tribute to Paul" he replied with a solemn and meek smile and she couldn't stop herself from gasping and being in awe of the kind of person he is.

After the movie they decided to hangout together and went to the sports lounge for rest of the day.

At the sports lounge they decided to enjoy the games there.
The guys went for the billiards while the girls went for ping pong bounce game.
Aryan declined playing and said he prefer to watch them play, on being persuaded repeatedly he said "I don't really know how to play pool" hesitating, "oh that's no problem dude, we all learned this game at some time" said Avinash patting him, "let me help you learn the basics" he encouraged him at which Aryan readily agreed.
While on the other side the girls were having too much fun.
Soon they were enjoying different games together. One game was followed by another and soon it was already late evening.

"Let's go to some outlet to restore all the energy lost and I guess we all are getting hungry too" suggested Nikita, "let's do that and I just came to know about a new fast food restaurant nearby" said Nikhil and the others agreed.

They reached to the suggested place and were in awe with the interior and decor.
It was a multi cuisine outlet with attached desserts parlour and drink bar.

"Wow dude, it's an awesome place,
I really didn't imagined to found such a place in this area" said Dev looking completely awed, "yea it's a new outlet opened just a month before but due to the decor and the food it became a sensation overnight and is always crowdy in the evenings and weekends" replied Nikita.
They all ordered their choices and enjoyed the food heartily.
"Let's go for ice cream" suggested Sanjana, " I heard there's lots of new flavours here so let's do that" said Aryan, "that's some nice suggestion you both came up with" teased Tanya winking at Ishika and the duo blushed while the others started laughing.
They all went to the dessert parlour and there indeed was several new ice cream flavours, "come on guys take your picks" said Arti, "I think you are too excited" said Virat winking at kushal and everyone started laughing.
Soon it was time to depart, They bid goodbyes to each other and went their ways.

He didn't wanted to rush it as he was loving her company, she never bothered with the rumors, as she knew how the people think, all that mattered to her was that she was enjoying being with him. People asked and the only answer they both had was ...#new_friends...
