Lin, Ron, Leo, and me left are muddy trench to find our captured comrades, shooting any hostiles we find. We left the open muddy plain where all the shooting was and took a bit of a detour through a small like forest, where there was very little resistance.
We made short stops to look for any Helgast encampment. We ended up finding a unsuspected large camp about two miles from our trenches.
We didn't dare enter the camp without reinforcements to aid us, so we hurried to our camp to try and beat back the attack so we could have troops to attack the large enemy camp, which might have our captured comrades. We made it back to camp just before sundown, we talked to what was left of our command and told them of what we found. We made it back to the trenches and talked to the remaining troops, we told them to advance at first site of night.
The gun fire had lessened so we went top side and slowly pushed forward. All was going well till the gun fire had started again this time artillery got involved. There wasn't many troops for the bullets and artillery to hit.
Most "smart" troops got out of the open plains and took to the small forest like areas on both sides of the muddy plains.
My team stayed in the plain as the enemy weapons concentrated their fire on the more concerning fire from our troops in the forests.
We ended up making it took the enemy camp easily so did many of the others with us.
