Four Months Earlier...
Luke Sky lay low in the bushes surrounding the enemy camp. He carefully observed, as he had been doing for the past half hour. The enemy this time was a pack of orcs. Huge monsters of Trabachi that had been terrorizing the neighboring town to their native forest for the past month. His assignment this time was to neutralize the problem, by any means necessary.
Cerce Temple appeared by his side, startling him slightly. She crawled up next to him and looked at the camp with him.
"Three hostages. Two are being held in that hut over there," she whispered. Cerce pointed to the largest hut, where two humans were being held. Then she pointed to an area by the large campfire. "The last one is right there. Luke, if we let these guys live, they will just take more lives. These people aren't hostages, they are dinner."
Luke nodded. "Then we need to hurry." He stroked his goatee and stood up.
"What are you doing?"
Luke turned back at her. "I am going to free them." He said with an obvious tone. With one fluid motion, he pulled out and formed his sword, the Triblade.
As Luke activated his ability, the irises in his eyes turned into a bright red color. Power began to radiate from his body. He closed his eyes for a moment and increased his breathing. Luke's heartrate began to accelerate rapidly. Adrenaline fused through his body. He cried out in a fury and rocketed toward the orcs.
The first one never saw it coming. He was impaled and dropped within seconds. The orcs made a huge crash when it fell, which grabbed the attention of the other orcs. Each orc was about 20 feet tall, and who knows how insanely heavy they actually were. There was one thing that everyone knew however, and that was to avoid them while if possible.
Which is exactly why the Godkid of Destruction was hired by the King to eliminate the problem.
The first to respond swung his club down on Luke with massive force. With one hand, Luke stopped the club in the middle of the swing. The orc froze, clearly surprised by the tiny human. Luke exhaled, and a puff of fire came out of his mouth.
With a quick swipe of his sword, the second orc hit the ground. The others seemed furious, and surrounded Luke on all sides. They all took swings at him, but Luke was too quick. He danced around their clubs, even jumping off of one to get into the air. As he soared, Luke aimed his palm toward the ground. A giant ball of flames shot out and exploded when it hit the ground. All but one orc was scorched.
Luke landed and slowly walked toward the remaining orc. His blood was still raging and his eyes had become a dark red. He pulled back his sword, ready for the finishing blow.
"Wait!" Someone shouted from behind him.
The familiar voice made Luke pause. That pause was long enough to return Luke to a normal heartrate. He turned to see his friend Brooke looking very angry at him.
"What are you doing? You can't just kill them!" She shouted.
Luke pointed at the orc. "They killed a bunch of people. They ATE a bunch of people!"
"That doesn't mean you have to kill them. They are people too Luke Sky."
Luke frowned. "I was given orders. They needed to be stopped. The King gave us this quest personally. I know that you think it is wrong, but this was the only way."
