Hey muffins. I know I'm late but HAPPY NEW YEAR! I'm so sorry for the long wait. I know it's been like half a year since I last updated and I kept this story on hold. I just couldn't write. I don't know. And I've had a lot of obsessions recently too ( I'm sure u guys heard of yuri on ice and killing stalking lolololz). But I finally got this chapter done and I made it longer than usual.

Hope u guys enjoy this chapter! :D

In case u guys have forgotten what happened in the previous chapter, here's a recap:

Truth's mother, Debbie, got embarrassed at work because of Truth's behavior in the news. She was sent home early so they could have a chat. Meanwhile, Scarlet visited Truth and they both spent some time together until Scarlet's dog, Fudge pooped on the carpet. Scarlet left with Fudge and Truth went up to her room after cleaning the mess. There, she was again met with the killer, but before anything could happen, her mom came home and she had to stuff herself with him in the closet. The story continues from there:

"Multiple personality disorder." I spun my pen in my hand as I listened to my biology teacher. Today, we were discussing about topics relating to psychology. My favorite. "Who can tell me what that is?" I raised my hand and so did a few other people. She looked around before her eyes landed on me. She smiled. "Yes, Truth?" Ah, classic. Of course she'd pick the main character. Wait, what?

"It's a mental disorder in which a person displays two or more identities that take control of their behavior."

She smiled, "That is absolutely right." She faced the class, "In multiple personality disorder, there can be as many as a hundred personalities or even more. But, most patients display about ten to fifteen different personalities." She explained more about it in detail and also explained what could be the cause of this disorder. I took down a few keywords.

Child abuse, dissociative disorders, identity, memory, mental disorders, stress, violence.

Pretty intense stuff.

She started to tell a story of a girl named Sybil Dorsett as an example. Apparently, she had sixteen different personalities and it took eleven years to cure her. Then suddenly, another topic caught my interest. "Schizophrenia." She said. I stopped spinning my pen and focused. "Now this disorder is often mistaken for the multiple personality disorder, but they are very different from each other. They also have different symptoms, causes and treatments. Now, what causes multiple pers-"

I raised my hand and interrupted, "What is schizophrenia?" My teacher quickly turned to look at me. The whole class stared at me, probably wondering why I was so interested. My teacher smiled.

"It is also a mental disorder, but a very serious one. This disorder causes people to have hallucinations, delusions and other kinds of thoughts and behaviors which confuses their view on reality."

"An example, please?"

The class groaned, but I ignored them. "Well...serial killers could be a good example." My eyes widened. My teacher stared at me. After she studied my face, she smiled again. I knew she understood that I wanted to know more. And she also knew why. Everyone knows about my encouter with a serial killer. "Serial killers view the world differently from us. Some of them are usually bound to suffer from schizophrenia. They say that there are certain people forcing them to do stuff. Their hallucinations affect their lives and they treat their hallucinations as real people only because they think they are."

"So...their hallucinations tempt them to kill people?"

"That's usually the case." I felt both scared and sorry for the people who have this disorder. I thought about the serial killer who attacked me. What if he has this disorder? Hallucinations and delusions. It's most likely possible that these affect his view on reality.
