A/N: 2nd FanFic, why not? I enjoy it. You're Adam's adopted brother for plot reasons... Not really just because I felt like it was more of a real reason but take the first reason, it makes things easier. I'll be making you a fox faunus like most people do

Blake's POV
"This is a pretty familiar place..." I thought as me and the rest of the team were exploring a dungeon of the White Fang base we've recently cleared out
"This place is kinda creepy" Ruby said, I kept on checking for anything that could possibly be useful in here, then suddenly we encountered a locked up door
"This seems like it's keeping something important" Weiss said, I nodded beifre Yang punched the door open, we sighed before we went inside
"What could they be keeping in here?" Yang asked as we walked in a bit further, we then saw a faunus who was passed out and tied to the chair, we rushed to him and checked it out, I felt nostalgic when I saw those (H/C) hair and (H/C) fox ears
"(F/N)?" I unknowingly said, he didn't respond but the others looked at me
"A friend of yours?" Yang asked, I nodded
"He seems pretty beat up, how long was he in here?" Weiss asked
"I don't know but it seems like he's been here for quite some time" I said as I untie him, he fell to his knees and down to the ground
"Is he... Dead?" Ruby asked, I checked his pulse, it was weak but it's still there
"He's alive" I said to her
"Then let's take him back to get him patched up" Yang said as she carried him over her shoulders, we went back to the bullhead and started flying back to Beacon
"Adam... Stop this... Already..." (F/N) was mumbling, his voice dry and husky, we leaned in closer to hear him
"We aren't... Bringing any joy... To anyone at all..." He mumbled, I was shocked when he said this
"We aren't... Being heroes... Anymore..." He said as he stayed quiet once more until we reached Beacon
"Let's hurry, it doesn't seem like he'll last any longer" Weiss said as we headed to the hospital to get him with Yang carrying him
"Please get him treated! He's not gonna last long" I pleaded, the nurses rushed to us and brought him into one of the rooms
"We're sorry but please visit him tomorrow, it seems like he has not been doing well" One of the nurses said to us
"What happened to him?" I asked
"There are signs showing that he hasn't eaten for a estimate of about a month and that he was beaten up on a regular basis, it also seems that he was not getting proper treatment" The nurse said, I felt bad for (F/N) but I only get to see him tomorrow, so we left and went to our dorms
"What do you think is gonna happen to him?" Yang asked us as we prepare to sleep
"I just hope that he's okay..." I said, Yang smirked at me
"Is our Blakey getting mushy over her childhood friend?" She teased me, I didn't mind her and went to sleep

-Dream-
"Hey there, Blake. How've you been doing?" (F/N) asked me as I was lying down on my hiding spot
"How do you know where I am?!" I hissed at him, he raised his hands in desperation while laughing awkwardly
"I... Kinda followed you here..." He said, I got angry at this
"Leave" I demanded, his fox ears went down in depression
"Aww, and I wanted to talk to you too..." He sadly said as he left

"Blake! Are you okay?! Are you hurt anywhere?!" (F/N) exaggerated as I got back from my mission
"No. I'm not" I coldly said towards him, he gave a sigh of relief
"I'm glad... I don't know what I'd do if I were to lose a friend like you" He said with a smile
"I'm not your friend" I said to him as I walked away

"Come on now, Big Brother Adam. It's not everyday you get to celebrate your birthday, so let's do it with a bang! Right, Blake?" (F/N) said as he gave a cake to Adam, but Adam wasn't to pleased by it
"I dislike it" Adam said as he threw the cake (F/N) earned so hard to get
"I- I see... Sorry to have wasted your time then..." (F/N) said as he walked away in depression

"Go, Blake! Chase your dreams and live!" (F/N) shouted as he held Adam in place while I escaped
"I'm sorry... (F/N)..." I thought
