Cake had made pancakes for breakfast and I sighed in contentment, chewing the yellow goodness. Small talk was made as everyone slowly ate.
Last night's encounter with that guy hadn't left my mind. He was just so.. mysterious?
What was his name... Lee or something?"Hey guys, do tell me about that guy." I asked Fiona and Cake, talking about our previous encounter with that Vampire-ish guy.
"Oh Marshall?" Fiona asked, playing with her fork.
"Yeah. Him." I replied, nodding.
Fiona seemed to be in deep thought for some time but replied, "He's a Vampire and-"
"Oh they exist? I mean I thought he was one because bite marks and all but-" I looked down embarrassed, "Sorry for interrupting you, Fiona. I was just shocked because vampires don't exist in my land."
Fiona smiled at me, "No need to apologise! It's alright! And yes, they do exist here. But Marshall is like the only one here."
I nodded.
"He's also very manipulative, and stirs up trouble in the Candy Kingdom. Prince Gumball thinks he's annoying too. They both were friends a lot of time ago, perhaps?"
I raised my eyebrows. "Haha. He looks troublesome." I giggled.
"Sweetie, he's just dangerous." Cake mumbled.
"But he's as scary as a duck! He doesn't look dangerous. He's just a flirt! A stupid one at that."
"Don't let his looks fool you. I learnt that the hard way." Fiona said, sadly.
Wait, what? Were they together or something?
"Thanks guys, for telling me. The breakfast was lovely. Thanks again." I smiled, and left the dishes in the kitchen.
"I'm going to go for a walk, alright?" I asked, waiting for a reply.
"Yeah sure! Have fun." Fiona smiled, hugging me. Cake did the same.
"Byee!" I shouted, going outside the lovely tree house.
I walked around a little bit, just to make sure that I didn't get lost.
I sat down under a tree and thought about my life at (Your Kingdom's Name). My parents were the rulers of it. And, they were very loving towards me and had sent me here for a change.
But I knew that alone wasn't the reason. Things in my Kingdom weren't going that great.I ran a hand through my hair, staring into the distance. I missed my mom, dad and Kingdom.
"You think I'm as scary as a duck, huh?" A deep voice asked. I turned around, confused to see Marshall Lee.
He sat down next to me, crossing his legs while floating, and gave me an expectant look.
"What?" I asked looking at him with my eyebrows raised. " I don't recall giving you permission to sit next to me." And with that I got up from under the tree.
He raised his hands in defeat, "Hey, hey! Calm down, Missy. This is a free world and I sat down?"
"Whatever." I muttered, sitting down again.
"You're really moody."
"You're really nosy. Thanks for ruining my moments of peace." I gave him an unamused look.
"Can't I even talk to you?" He raised his eyebrows.
"No, you cant. Now you may leave."
"I'm much more scarier than a duck, (Y/N)." He said darkly. "I'm the Vampire King, after all."
I shot up, shocked. "How do you know my name and that I thought you were as scary as a duck?"
He was a King? Shit.
"I know a lot of things, (Y/N)." He smirked, amused by my shocked reaction.
Oddly enough, I liked the way he said my name. Haha, how weird?
"You're a stalker." I muttered.
"I'm way worse. I go out of limits to collect information about things that intrigue me." He chuckled darkly.
Man, he was shady and somewhat scary! That chuckle sent shivers down my back. So scary.
"And I intrigue your weird self, somehow?" I asked, somewhat scared.
"Yeah."
"Wait, what?"
"Shocked, I see." He smirked.
"Okay cool, man. I intrigue you? Cool. Now if you'll just excuse me, I have work to do." I said quickly, wiping off grass from my jeans and (favourite colour) shirt.
"Aw. I wanted to scare you more. But I guess that's enough for today." He smirked and stood up as well. He floated in the air, his eyes twinkling.
"Yeah. That's enough. See you never. Bye-"
"And (Y/N)?"
"Y-yeah?" I mentally cursed myself for stuttering.
"Honey, you haven't even seen me flirt yet. So you can't make assumptions about me being a terrible flirt just yet." He said in his deep voice, referring to my earlier conversion with Fiona and Cake.
My face immediately turned bright red, and I covered my face with my hands, embarrassed. "I, uh, yeah."
Wow. Have I lost the ability to make proper sentences?
"And I am troublesome." He smirked, running a hand through his, fabulous hair.
"Hehe. Yeah." I gave a nervous chuckle and rubbed my sweaty hands on my jeans. I began to walk away when I was stopped dead in my tracks by a hand on my shoulder.
I turned around to see Marshall Lee.
He leaned forward and I froze. What was he doing? He brought his lips to my left ear and whispered something that gave me a heart-attack."I find you amusing, (Y/F/N) (Y/L/N) of the (Your Kingdom)."
And with that he floated away.
I stood there, my mouth agape.
He found me amusing?
What the acual hell?
He must be joking right?
Of course he was joking!
But I am funny and witty, right? How did he know my Kingdom? How did he know my full name?
How?
He was THE Vampire King. Oh My God! Fiona never told me! That makes him even more powerful and scary and maybe, awesome?
Yeah he's pretty cool.
Wait, what?
Let's just forget I said that.
I muttered some fancy curse words under by breath and went back to my friends, Fiona and Cake.
That Vampire was scary and oddly alluring.
Um what? I didn't just say that, did I?
